Horrible experience with this location and BoxLunch Customer Service, both the Phone and Chat Teams. I ordered a shirt that said it was available in store and pajama pants that said they were out of stock in the store, but available online on the 19th. The shirt was ready the next day and had to be picked up within about a week. I picked up the shirt on the 25th, but the store said the pajama pants were not there yet. It was on the shelf, the exact item in the correct size. They were unwilling to let me have the pair on the shelf stating the store inventory and online inventory were separate and that they also could not price match my online purchase amount. I called customer service while in the store who confirmed their policy and that the inventory was separate and they could not make the store price match despite this being harmful to the customer experience. The first thing I checked was to see if the item was on sale and noted as being in stock for the store I was standing in on the website. It was not showing as in stock even though I was holding the item. The over the phone representative said they would be willing to ship the item to my home for free due to the inconvenience, but that I had to wait until the item arrived at the store to make the replacement order. Here we are on the 1st of March and it still hasn't arrived at the store. I engaged the BoxLunch Chat with the request to go ahead and place a replacement order to my home as its already been 10 days since placing the original order and I don't want to wait a full month to receive the item. The representative advised they have until the 8th before the item is due to arrive at the store and cannot assist. Nor can they cancel the order as it is currently in a shipped status. What an absolute disappointment. This company is in desperate need of some...
Read moreI do love BoxLunch and I'm excited that they are finally in Charlotte, but I'm very disappointed with how the store is run.
Ever since they launched, every staff member I've encountered has always had an attitude, especially on a day when a lady gave me attitude when I needed something from the walls. This has happened not just once, but three times.
The staff needs more training on how promotions are run. There have been times when I had to educate them. I was told I can only use one BoxLunch coupon per transaction, even though my subtotal before taxes was $60, which meant I could've used two coupons.
One thing that all the other BoxLunch stores in Asheville, Winston Salem, and other parts of North Carolina do is post on Instagram about Funko drops. However, this store doesn't. I hate missing out on drops and I usually only find out if they have it in stock when I walk in or when I'm told about it.
I hope this place turns around and becomes friendlier without...
Read moreI'm not from the area, but I was exploring this mall and stumbled upon this store! In every direction I looked, I was fascinated by something on the walls and shelves.
I was most intrigued by their variety of Meowchi plushes and a Spirited Away sweater. Apparently the sweater had been purchased and returned multiple times- I decided to take it and give it a home in Canada.
The service here was fantastic! Very bubbly team members that I always saw smiling while working. They were also quite patient during the check-out process because I had a few questions about the store and products. Thank you for...
