I started working with Jason 2 years ago and wrote him a 5-star review then, and I’m updating to say if I could give a 100-star review, I would.
2 years ago Jason cleaned and re-plated my wedding ring. I had at the time let him know I was considering adding a wedding band to my ring ( I originally didn’t think I wanted a band when I married). 2 years later, my husband surprised me letting me know he had talked to Jason, and we were ready to design my band.
When I went to meet with Jason, I had expressed concerns with my current ring, the white gold was yellowing quickly and had been doing so since I was engaged. So Jason and I discussed the possibility of resetting my ring in platinum. We also went over what I was considering for a band design. I wasn’t sure which options we would go with considering cost, so Jason put together multiple pricing options with leaving my ring as is and adding a band, new ring in platinum etc.
When we talked it over, my husband surprised my by agreeing to a new platinum ring, and new center diamond to compliment the design I had in mind. THIS is where Jason really shined as a jeweler. I am extremely type a, perfectionist, and extremely detail oriented. Throughout the entire process of designing this new ring, Jason answered every single question I had. He helped me fine tune every single detail of my ring including down to the exact number of diamonds, and even precise height of my prongs and where the diamond would sit in the carriage. I wanted my exact original ring, just adding a center band and was very specific about each part, as my husband had custom designed my original ring. Jason was incredibly accommodating with every minute detail I wanted to change/add/make sure stayed the same to my original ring. He had my wax cast sent so that I could see the ring before it was created and fine tune the details with a 3D, tangible model. When I hesitated and had more questions he had the molding sent back so I could again, see everything before the final piece was made. I was overwhelmed and very nervous with this whole process, and Jason walked me through every single step of this and never made me feel like my need to fine tune every single detail was a burden. I had a million questions and he was always ready to call, send messages with updates and answers, or set up a face-to-face meeting to go over any and every detail.
His website says “. It isn’t possible to end up with something that we didn’t start with because you are part of each step of the approval process.” This was 100% true, not something he just says, he stand by and delivers and keeps you involved and no change is too small to discuss!
I am so so so happy with my ring. It is everything I hoped it would be. It was 4-months in the making which is much much longer than most take and had everything to do with my need for perfection. But Jason delivered perfection, and was willing to work with me as long as it took so when I put that ring on and brought it home, I was 1000% happy.
I know this review is long winded, but I wanted to explain in detail just how much time and effort Jason puts into his work. He is passionate, knowledge, and his prices can’t be beat. His willingness to go above and beyond for his customers is what makes him stand out. I would recommend him to anyone looking to do anything with their jewelry, whether it’s clean, inspect, redesign etc.
Thank you Jason for being so wonderful to work with and helping me make something so important to Ryan and myself so beautiful and something I can truly...

Truly a wonderful experience and an amazing ring!! This was my first time purchasing expensive jewelry and Jason from start to finish was a pleasure to work with and all around great businessman. From our first meeting, before even deciding what ring I wanted, he gave me a wealth of knowledge about everything with rings, jewelry care, design, the different metals and plating process and also insurance. Unlike the big box stores (that just cram rings in your face as soon as you walk through the door); Jason first took the time to get to listen to my story and situation and develop a game plan. I first showed up just knowing I needed a engagement/wedding ring (I didn't know the difference) and didn't even think about all the many various details that he pointed out and helped me clarify. The beautiful ring I decided to buy is actually custom designed by Jason and can't be found anywhere else. So I thought that exclusivity was just another plus to add to the immensely positive experience I had with Sakasci Diamonds. His design also shows the expertise and details he put into creating the ring. He also worked with my tight schedule without adding an expedited fee that you might find with the big stores. When selecting the center stone, Jason provided multiple options to fit my budget. Even though his prices are better than the big brand stores, he doesn't sacrifice quality, instead he uses a lean business and direct connections to the diamond suppliers to save on overhead and costs then passes those savings to the customer. I look forward to making future...
Read moreI strongly suggest taking the work for QC check to an accredited diamond retailer. I worked with Jason Briefly, I went in to consult on a large job of creating a ring and remaking a family heirloom When I walked in like most jewelers Jason was friendly and asked me if he could clean my ring that was on my finger. I slid my David Yurman off and handed it to him when he handed it back to me was missing a diamond he said that it was no problem sometimes things like this happen and he said he would fix it, two weeks later I got a phone call that he was excited my brilliant perfect ring was done and looked brand new. I picked up the ring and when I put it on my finger I noticed the diamond that he replaced immediately because it was not the David Yurman diamond it was a larger diamond of less quality I was sure of it, but wouldn’t want to believe this to be true. I took it into the diamond cellar and much to my dismay it was infact a cheap LOW GRADE quality AND broken diamond. When i called Jason, his response “you know when you left upset i called my my gold smith and he said that his work is so flawless and i don’t notice where he replaced the diamond, and that LARGER POOR QUALITY BROKEN diamond was already there i just didn’t notice it.”
JUST A LITTLE PSA to ANYONE CONSIDERING WORKING WITH JASON. It’s a scam. He has not Quality control and he is incredibly dishonest. I will never forget that awful experience, the next stop is the chamber of commerce as a faulty lying business should not be named and based in my hometown of New Albany.
Enjoy my david...
