We decided to get pizza before our pool play date, so we stopped here to try it out. The place is decorated really cute, monster trucks on the tv screen nearest to us, and apple juice flowing. Our server was ok, she kind of forgot about us once her friends stopped in and she started serving them. Thankfully the manager? Got us a to go box and was really sweet to my son. The pizza was REALLY good once it came out (from start to finish we were here an hour, we quickly ate our pizza because we were late to our play date now after getting there an hour early! I wanna say it took around 30min for our pizza to come out) Anyways, would I go back, short answer no. I would maybe opt for a take out to try a speciality pizza, huge maybe. Have you tried this pizza place, thoughts?

This was our first visit here, and let me tell you... I'm pretty sure that we've found a new favorite place to eat!! The second we walked in the door the we were totally digging the atmosphere, I mean you can never go wrong with C3PO, R2D2 & Yoda greeting you at the front entrance foyer! Once we were inside the restaurant we were immediately greeted by Sydney and seated at a table. Sydney was also our server, and quickly took our drink order. He ordered Coca-Cola and I got plain Tea. When she came back with our drinks she immediately took our lunch order. We decided to try the Magic Mushroom Soup to start off with, which came out quickly and did not disappoint!! It was so creamy and it was like a mushroom flavor explosion in your mouth! We both agreed that regular mushroom soup would never ever be the same. Lol. For lunch he ordered the Sausagefest Calzone with a side of Spicy Ranch. I ordered The Elevated Cobb Salad without tomatoes (allergic) and the Balsamic Vinegarette dressing. Once our lunches came out we were even more thrilled with this place. The portions were huge, and the flavor on both of our lunches was frikin amazing!! He could only eat about 1/2 of his Calzone and I probably only got through about 1/4 of my salad. So we asked for to go boxes, and Sydney immediately asked us if we wanted to also take our drinks and if we'd like a bag to carry everything. Sydney's service was phenomenal! She was always pleasant, and had a smile on her face and truly looked like she enjoyed her job! In fact, every employee we encountered was also smiling and pleasant. 🤯 That in itself was very refreshing!! The portions and quality of food was outstanding! The restrooms were clean,, and smelled good. The entire ambiance of the restaurant was very chill and inviting. We LOVED the use of all the reclaimed Wood! Plus, all COVID Health guidelines were being followed by all the staff we seen at the restaurant, and all the tables were set up socially distanced. We will most definitely be returning, with our kids next time lol, so that they can enjoy it with us!!

Great atmosphere and really great pizza. We have visited this location a few times and have had great food and a great time every visit. The staff tends to be well trained but laid back making it a very casual atmosphere. The kitchen is an open concept and my kids like watching the cooks toss the dough as they make the pizzas. While Mellow Mushroom is a chain, each location has a section of local favorites. This one is no exception and while I can't be sure I suspect they rotate the selections. Always worth the look to see some additional flavors of pizza to check out. Of course, the pizza is what they are all about. An eclectic collection to flavors to be sure. Holy Shiitake and the Buffalo Chicken are two of my favorites. The Buffalo Chicken, especially, is delicious and I don't hesitate to say it is the best buffalo pizza I've had. The pretzels are a favorite starter. They take the pizza dough and bake them into soft pretzels. They serve them with marinara but you have to add on the beer cheese. It makes the pretzels and if there is any left, you can dip your pizza crust in it for a bonus round with your meal. The menu is rounded out with other choices. The hoagies are good and the salads look fresh and delicious. I can't speak to the salads... haven't had one. I can't get past the pizza.

We usually love this place and frequent it a lot. With that being said, this experience was horrible and we probably will not be back. If I could give negative stars, I would because it’s definitely deserved. We showed up at roughly 5:50pm. It was busy. We put our name in and our wait was 30 minutes. Okay that’s cool, it’s fine. During the 40 minutes, since we gave them leniency, about 8 other groups showed up AFTER us, ranging from all different sizes. My husband decided to ask the host how long was left before we could be seated. The host pulled out his little pamphlet, where I saw, and I cannot stress this enough, my husband’s name at the top of the list with our arrival time of 5:50p. Let’s stress that again, OUR NAME WAS AT THE TOP OF THE LIST, and the host had the audacity to say there were 4 other parties ahead of us- THAT SHOWED UP AFTER US. Again, for stress, those 4 parties showed up AFTER us. He then told us our wait would be 25 minutes. Babe, we showed up at 5:50, we decided to be nice and give y’all 40 minutes, and then you want to tell us we have to wait 25 more minutes? Fast forward to us getting our food. We sit down and we order right off the bat. Our waitress was nice…for now. Our food took 35 minutes to get out. I was able to watch one whole half of a basketball game just waiting. Our food comes out. It’s as cold as the river Washington crossed. That tells me our waitress was caught lacking and left our food somewhere where an overhead heater wasn’t present. It’s the end of our time there. My husband had to ask another waitress to for a box and the bill. Why? Because who was supposed to our waitress, was chatting up a storm with someone else, AFTER my husband tried to get her attention multiple times. Quite literally yelling excuse me as she was walking past and having her ignore it. Save your money and don’t come here....

UPDATE: Manager contacted me right away & apologized & offered a resolution. Manager invited us to try the restaurant again on the house. We went back & had a completely different experience. Food was great, service was great, timing was great!

We have never had a more disappointing experience at a restaurant. The service was terrible. Never once were we checked on or offered more water or anything. We put in our pizza orders after waiting quite a while for that & FIFTY FIVE minutes later our waitress finally stopped by to say (without stopping at all; just running by) “it’s crazy, it should be out soon”. The restaurant did not look crazy. We arrived after the lunch rush. There was no line & no one waiting. FIFTEEN minutes later our pizzas finally came out. SEVENTY minutes to get our food. SEVENTY minutes without water refills or anyone checking on us in any way. My husband was so mad he wanted to leave several times, but our young son wanted to try a new pizza place so we stayed. If they were “so crazy” why was our food cold when it got to us? How can we wait 70 minutes & be brought lukewarm pizza? Were we just forgotten? After we were finally eating, no one stopped by to ask how our food was, ask if we needed anything, nothing. Still no water refills. It took forever to get boxes & then forever to get the bill. We were at the restaurant for TWO HOURS. It was just ridiculous. We understand that it’s hard to run a business right now. Staffing issues, supply issues, etc. if ANYONE would have come to us apologizing for our wait, the cold food, or the complete lack of service, that would have been a different story. Not a penny was taken off of the bill. No apologies or explanations at all. We felt completely ignored & unvalued. And this is not a cheap pizza place. This was our first & last experience here. Beyond...
