They only have 2 flavors for their coffee drinks: vanilla or honey. Honey latte was 8/10. Flavor was good on the coffee, however, needed to be stirred for the honey flavor to be there from 1st sip to last sip. Prices are good for coffee & tea options. They do not have decaf espresso (which is nonsense,) so if you want a decaf latte, you'll have to settle for a drink made of steamed milk and decaf coffee. I mentioned a misto, but was quickly corrected that "Starbucks calls it misto, but most places call it a cafƩ Ole." They don't have wifi. They close at 3pm. (Which is actually smart cause it keeps the teens coming out of school from filling the place for "frapps.") They don't have plugs to charge devices. (I'm sure if I asked the owners, they'd have some hipster belief system and reason as to why, and that's their right.) BUT--I tried their egg sandwich. That more than made up for anything I wasn't overtly impressed with. That sandwich is delicious, and the balance of flavors is perfection. The only feedback I'd give on the sandwich: less flour dusting on the bread cause it leaves residue on your fingers that feels weird & cut the arugula in smaller pieces. But honestly, I'd get that egg sandwich again even without any changes. It's delicious. When you go into the door, there's a lower space between tables that has live plants right by the window, but the plants have thick spider webs behind them going to the windows. I hope they clean that. The place is mostly immaculate though, even...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo whom it may concern, I would like to relay my experience at the New Albany location on Motherās Day. This was my first experience at that location. And I do understand that it is a very busy day. I did not however have a very positive experience. I placed my preorder for the day and was given my pickup time. When I arrived, I entered through the wrong door, mistaking the line of people who were there for regular orders. The door was not marked on the outside. But an employee quickly chastised me and instructed me to walk back around the building in the rain to arrive 15 feet from where I already was. I went to the correct door, where I was told online orders were behind by another customer waiting. I ended up waiting thirty minutes. No employees were communicating how long we would be waiting. Another customer had to flag down an employee who told us that our pre order time wasnāt being brought out. She then told us we were waiting for a single item to finish up (blueberry galette), so we continued to wait another 15 Minutes or so for that item. Then an employee came out w my order, handed it to me, said they were out of galettes and I was refunded, no apology or inquiry if Iād like to replace it with another item, and they walked off. Bummer. Just a bummer of an experience with the customer service there. Happy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately I never feel welcomed here. Person taking my order (male with curly hair) looked like I was bothering him. I walked up and he took maybe 60 seconds to acknowledge me. He was fiddling with some markers. Maybe it was how I was dressed. It wasnāt until after I ordered that I told him my order was to go. So I go sit down and wait. He eventually walks up to me after a few minutes to say āYour pastry is right up there. I put it in the bag.ā It was not busy and he then walked away. Um, ok. He could have brought it over or handed it to me when I paid but instead he made it a point to tell me to go get it. No worry. I just donāt feel very welcomed. This isnāt my first time here but I was noticeably less welcomed this time than previously. All coffee drinks come in the size they come in. The picture attached shows the left as a ālargeā and the right as a medium. They serve drinks the traditional sizes I guess? A little snobby to not let customers choose the volume of...
