I came in looking to get my vest for work tailored and wanted it ready in 2 days she said yes she pinned it all together and then at the end tells me everything is 175 but she’ll do it for 150. Keep in mind she knows I need it ready soon and I think this is extremely expensive, I said okay even though this bothers me. I wish she would’ve informed me before we did all that and pinned everything but I agreed. I found out all of my co workers tailored there clothes were under 50 in different tailoring companies so I told Ruth and we argued back and forth and she did it for 133 not worth it but I agreed to her price earlier and I hate complaining so I paid it unfortunately even though she didn’t deserve 150. According to the back of the ticket they will only reimburse you only ten times the alteration price I do not usually expensive clothes in the first time to test the capacity of a tailor. I gave her a chance to see her work. She did not quote me a high price but after getting I notice a linning of the skirt was cut in half ruining the skirt. I would probably have to go back to another tailor but being that I just bought the skirt as a smota and just a test I don't don't know ifthetry and I decided to take back my clothes after her trying to alter a skirt. This was a cheap lesson for 25.00 that save me thousands of dollars In potentially ruining my very expensive clothes. A ounce of preventation is worth a pound of clue. I dropped my pants off to be hemmed. I was told I would receive a call or message when they were ready. I never did. When I went to pick my pants up, they weren’t hemmed the way I asked so they agreed to re do them. When I came back to pick them up I was charged a second time. I explained I already paid for the pants but they said “the manager isn’t here so we have to charge you and she’ll take care of you when she comes in”. I never heard from anyone after I paid. Normally I would have waited to pick up my pants but I was leaving for a trip the following day so I had to. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card. I highly recommend you go else where.
