I unfortunately experienced 1st & 2nd degree burns from brightening chemical peel with Joann at The Wellness Studio. After being a long time loyal client, (since 2019), I wasn’t even made aware of the severity of the situation and was sent on my way. When I texted her photos of what I was experiencing and the pain I was in later that day, she suggested I come back in and do a soothing face mask; meanwhile, I was being assured that nothing out of the normal has happened. I know now, this was false.

After a week of seeing no improvements and noticing major scarring, I reached out AGAIN and got absolutely no resolution or even FALSE concern. I have been going to the Wellness Studio for several years now. I was introduced to this terrific studio and JoAnn through a friend who bought a groupon for microdermabrasion. I bought the groupon after her rave review and have been going there ever since. I have enjoyed many services - microdermabrasion, non-surgical face and neck lift, pumpkin enzyme facial, hand and foot massage and many more. Her special facials each month are heavenly. I have been extremely happy with every service. JoAnn always goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to enjoy the experience with soft lighting and music.
