Zero Waste Reserve — Local services in Pleasant Valley Township

Reducing waste and plastic use and investing in quality, clean products that are better for ourselves and the environment has been on my family’s radar for quite some time. Enter, Zero Waste Reserve! A 1 stop refill shop in the QCA, stocked with products ranging from personal care to household products, and almost everything in between! Shopping is so easy at the store and there is always something new to consider. My husband loves the patchouli laundry detergent, the dishwasher powder and the eco coconut scorers. My daughter loves the grapefruit body wash and printed sandwich bags for her lunch. I haven’t found I product I don’t like yet, but for the sake of this review, I’ll limit my favorites to the rosemary mint lotion, the ugly but lovely soap bars and the Bai-li deodorant. I trust the staff at ZWR in their research for products, recommendations of products and innovative ways to reduce plastic waste, ie. providing up-cycled containers for refillable products. This company is great! The products are all sourced from earth-friendly vendors and include all-natural products. I've used shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bar soaps, toilet bowl cleaners, toothpaste tablets, and a few others I'm forgetting. I've enjoyed trying new products and found some favorites. The online ordering process is simple and her at-home store is cute and fun to experience. I love the fact that I can take my own empty bottles to her store to refill whatever I need. AND she accepts donations of empty bottles and containers that I don't need - less waste! The products are all things I need, so if I'm going to buy it anyway, might as well help the planet along the way. Excited to try cleaning products next, just waiting until I get through the store-bought stuff I already have! Definitely recommend trying...

Absolutely amazing staff & products! Highly recommended!

I started picking up items from Zero Waste at the Farmer's Market but have loved the shop as it gives a bit more flexibility and so many extra options! All products are natural, have wonderful (essential oil) scents, and with the knowledgeable staff it's so easy to transition away from harsh chemicals & fake scents.

Cannot forget to mention being able to bring in your own containers to fill, or even donate. There tend to be plenty of recycled containers for use as well!
