This is the BEST Busch's around. They have the freshest produce and I can always trust that what I'm buying is safe. I have only had a few issues here and there with fruit or vegetables wilting, and my not being able to purchase what I have on my list. (What grocery store doesn't have this problem sometimes?) I prefer Busch's over big-box stores any day. The staff is generally very friendly. I've only ever run into a few unfriendly people. I can always count on Tim. He is the best cashier there. Tim is friendly, honest, funny, and never remarks when I'm at the store right before they close. Tim has worked there since I was in high school, which was 16+ years ago. Sure, it's just a grocery store, but I personally enjoy seeing a familiar face when I shop here. I have had a cashier quickly ringing me up, throwing my groceries around in the past right before close, and speaking to me in a rude tone. This was post-COVID, when Busch's decided to keep their closing at 9 p.m. hours, instead of returning to 11 p.m. This was an isolated incident. The only other isolated incident that was questionable was a manager that was literally behind me clapping his hands telling my husband and me that the store was closing in less than five minutes and we needed to hurry up and check out. I have a brain injury, and this really upset me. I told Tim about it the next time I saw him. I never saw that manager again, and this was more than a year ago now. If you're in the area, shop here, and check out in Tim's lane. This is where I buy my produce and meat, and the prices...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to the cold food bar to make myself a salad as I always do when I visit other Busch's locations. This was my 1st time visiting this location and I probably won't be back. The salad was GREAT so the food was not an issue at all. I was uncomfortable from the time I set foot in the door as everyone there from the staff to the customers stared at me and made faces of disgust as if they've never seen anyone black before in their lives or at least they're not accustomed to seeing black people shop in this Busch's market location. I felt the "Hurry up and buy" vibe from the staff there as it seemed as though they were all holding their breath that I wasn't there to cause any trouble or steal anything all the way up until my debit card transaction went through and I left the store. What a shame too because I absolutely love Busch's and their entire concept but not the Plymouth Township, Michigan location if I have to be treated and stared at the way I was. I felt uncomfortable for simply getting hungry and stopping into my favorite market for a bite. What usually is an overall great experience with other locations made me sad at this location that this is where we are as Americans in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe problem I having is the racist thing that keeps happening to me every time I come in. I can no longer put up with a store that is in this day in age in 2018 that treats people wrong. I come in about twice a week for lunch to get a salad with my co worker. Every time I walk up to the salad bar the same woman every time follows me. I can barley put my lettuce in the container. she does not follow my co worker at all. I don't even get to put all the items I want because the woman is right on top of me watching what I put in. I work in the office building right behind the store. I make a great living and I don't think I should be treated as if we have stepped back into the stone ages of racism. Please stop following me. I pay for my lunch and my co workers lunch when I get in there. I have no problem going to local T.V news station to have this...
