First, I wanna start out by saying our waiter was great. I wish I remembered his name so I could mention him by name, he was that impressive. He had great recommendations and was very well versed in the menu from beer to dessert. We started with a beer so yummy it was almost not a beer. Vanilla and black coffee in a dark beer, what a surprising treat. It was highly recommended by our waiter and he was so right. The bucket of shrimp was good. There was a creamy dipping sauce along with the traditional cocktail sauce, I'm not sure what was in the creamy sauce but it was extremely good. Our meals were okay, not exceptional which was a little disappointing. We got fish tacos and The Bucket Brown. The description of the parmesan sauce was enough to make your mouth water, but when it came right down to it it wasn't nearly as tasty as the description, it needed seasoning and some garlic. Dessert however, that's where this place shines like a beacon. Get the Sticky Bun Bread pudding... get it don't question just get it. I don't even have the words to describe how delicious it is,...
Read moreI've been to Rusty Bucket a couple of times before in the past and each time there has always been an issue with long waits for foods and food coming out a different times. The first time I went was with my wife and co-worker and each one of our meals came out at separate times and I was almost done with my food before my co-worker or wife had their meals. Today 2/23/2018 my co-worker and I both placed carry out orders at the same time and the wait was supposed to be 15min. I get up to the Rusty bucket a few mins early to pickup my food and they tell me ohh your veggie burger wasn't put into the system because it with another order and that I had to wait. Well my order was ready sitting on the counter and they made me wait another 15 mins for my co-workers food. I finally get my co-workers food and when I get back to work my food is already cold and the Chicken BLT was mainly just breading there wasn't much chicken on the sandwich. The food is good here when it is freshly made and on point but apparently they were not on...
Read moreA pretty standard sports bar, with a dark wood interior. Lots of TV screens all tuned to sports channels. Pictures of old sports memorabilia on the walls. An eclectic menu for a sports bar, a little pricey on some items. A wide selection of domestic microbrewery beers. Full bar. Extremely friendly and courteous wait staff. I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, and wild mushroom gravy. The meat loaf had a little too much Worcestershire sauce on the coating. The gravy very good. Mashed potatoes and green beans pretty much standard. My wife had French Onion soup and a side salad. Both very ample portions. She said the soup was very good and the salad delicious. There was enough salad to take home. Noise level was subdued for a sports bar, but this may be due to capacity limitations resulting from the Trumph-19 virus. I had a 20 oz draft, my wife a flavored ice tea. Lunch for two less tip ~$40.00. Overall, a good restaurant/bar. Nothing exceptional....
