First, I wanna start out by saying our waiter was great. I wish I remembered his name so I could mention him by name, he was that impressive. He had great recommendations and was very well versed in the menu from beer to dessert. We started with a beer so yummy it was almost not a beer. Vanilla and black coffee in a dark beer, what a surprising treat. It was highly recommended by our waiter and he was so right. The bucket of shrimp was good. There was a creamy dipping sauce along with the traditional cocktail sauce, I'm not sure what was in the creamy sauce but it was extremely good. Our meals were okay, not exceptional which was a little disappointing. We got fish tacos and The Bucket Brown. The description of the parmesan sauce was enough to make your mouth water, but when it came right down to it it wasn't nearly as tasty as the description, it needed seasoning and some garlic. Dessert however, that's where this place shines like a beacon. Get the Sticky Bun Bread pudding... get it don't question just get it. I don't even have the words to describe how delicious it is,...

I've been to Rusty Bucket a couple of times before in the past and each time there has always been an issue with long waits for foods and food coming out a different times. The first time I went was with my wife and co-worker and each one of our meals came out at separate times and I was almost done with my food before my co-worker or wife had their meals. Today 2/23/2018 my co-worker and I both placed carry out orders at the same time and the wait was supposed to be 15min. I get up to the Rusty bucket a few mins early to pickup my food and they tell me ohh your veggie burger wasn't put into the system because it with another order and that I had to wait. Well my order was ready sitting on the counter and they made me wait another 15 mins for my co-workers food. I finally get my co-workers food and when I get back to work my food is already cold and the Chicken BLT was mainly just breading there wasn't much chicken on the sandwich. The food is good here when it is freshly made and on point but apparently they were not on...

A pretty standard sports bar, with a dark wood interior. Lots of TV screens all tuned to sports channels. Pictures of old sports memorabilia on the walls. An eclectic menu for a sports bar, a little pricey on some items. A wide selection of domestic microbrewery beers. Full bar. Extremely friendly and courteous wait staff. I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, and wild mushroom gravy. The meat loaf had a little too much Worcestershire sauce on the coating. The gravy very good. Mashed potatoes and green beans pretty much standard. My wife had French Onion soup and a side salad. Both very ample portions. She said the soup was very good and the salad delicious. There was enough salad to take home. Noise level was subdued for a sports bar, but this may be due to capacity limitations resulting from the Trumph-19 virus. I had a 20 oz draft, my wife a flavored ice tea. Lunch for two less tip ~$40.00. Overall, a good restaurant/bar. Nothing exceptional....

Came in for lunch. Got a margarita and some wings. The fact that Jose Cuervo Gold is $10 is outlandish to me. I ordered the $16 wings, asked for dry rub and got buffalo. The wings weren’t nasty but that’s not what I asked for. I was on limited time so I didn’t even care to ask them to remake them. I literally watched the lady in the bathroom leave without washing her hands. She was not an employee. I just thought it was disgusting because there’s no telling what she touched. Speaking of dirty, I was given a filthy plate with my wings. Definitely didn’t even touch that. I’m just wondering why it was even given to me in the first place.. there’s no way the bartender didn’t see that ahead of time. For a $37 lunch, and that’s before tip, i am disappointed. The Bingham Farms location is 100% better.

Stopped in at the Rusty Bucket in Northville and gave their Double Stacked Quesadilla a try. The presentation was solid—neatly toasted wedges stacked alongside crisp shredded lettuce, guacamole, pico, and a generous dollop of sour cream. The flavor was right where you'd expect it to be: warm, cheesy, and satisfying. The quesadilla had a nice balance of filling and crisp tortilla, and everything tasted fresh. While it didn’t stray far from what you’d find at most bar and grill-style restaurants, it definitely hit the spot for comfort food done right. Overall, it’s a safe and tasty choice if you're in the mood for a classic pub-style quesadilla with a cold beer on the side. Not groundbreaking, but certainly enjoyable.

HOT BROWN! Despite the name, the Hot Brown is a delicious open-faced sandwich that I haven't been able to find outside of Kentucky... until now. The Rusty Bucket's version was fantastic; just as tasty as the original from the Brown Hotel in Louisville, but prepared with more attention to detail. Fred K. Schmidt, the chef credited with creating the Hot Brown in 1926, would be pleased. The bacon was crispy, the Mornay sauce (or whatever cheesy gravy was in play) was delicious, the turkey was sliced thin and perfectly proportioned, and the garnishes were spot on. I heard that the Sunday-only feature may soon be retired from the Rusty Buckey menu -- I hope that is not the case.
