ALWADI COFFEE — Restaurant in Plymouth Charter Township

Didn't get any food, so I can't rate any of that. The service was particularly friendly, which was nice. The coffee itself is great coffee. I got 2 things, a campfire latte and an Amanda Palmer refresher. The Campfire Latte was definitely better than any offering of the same caliber from Starbucks or any other chain, but honestly it's just kinda average. I was a little surprised, seeing that it was ranked on their menu board as one of the more popular drinks that it landed in the realm of average. The Amanda Palmer, being a hibiscus and lemonade iced refresher, was absolutely fantastic! It was super refreshing, and very yummy mix, however, having purchased the 12oz to try, I was incredibly disappointed in the ice to drink ratio... My 12oz cup was overstuffed with ice, so much so the guy making it had to shove the ice down with the lid, leaving only room enough for maybe, and I do mean maybe, 4 - 5oz of liquid, and at $3.95 for that, I would consider this highway robbery. That harsh criticism said, I can't emphasize enough, how good this drink is! If this was offered in a half gallon togo container, it would be a perfect...

First off....super nice people. You walk in, they know your name. They know your order and they go out of their way to make you happy. From the owner who is one of the most pleasant, engaging small business owners I've run into lately, to the part time staff who are super friendly and attentive...there isn't a more perfect place to come get your coffee in the morning.

Also, let me tell you...their coffee is FANTASTIC! I'm super picky as you may be able to tell from some of my other reviews. They serve a superior product and manage to do it at a price considerably less than any other coffee shop I visit...by a lot!

Lastly...their home made scones! I don't like scones. To me, they are always too dry with little taste. The owner makes these in the back, by hand. Ask for them! I can't even tell you how amazing they are!

My daughter and I stopped by today as a last minute stop. I thought it was still Biggby, but decided to go in anyway to give it a try. I'm happy I stopped by! It's very nice inside with beautiful sweet treats displayed. It's very spacious if you'd like to stay inside. You won't feel like you're super close to people. The customer service was excellent and it was a very welcoming greeting and my drink of choice was great! I like how they offer sugar free options, such as vanilla, caramel and it was 1 more...I forgot. They also offer dairy free milk options. I chose my coffee drink to be frozen. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely be returning. If you want quality coffee partnered with quality service, this is...
