ALDI — Local services in Plymouth

LOVE ALDIS... Before the pandemic hit I wouldn't give this place a second look.. dont ask me why... I was just set in my ways going to Market Basket and Walmart... so when this all happened 1. I couldn't get near either store without a wait (no easy task with 2 kids) & 2. Even if I did get into the store they had NOTHING....so... I decided to try Aldis and so happy I did. They have everything (with a few exceptions) that the bigger stores would have... meats, dairy, produce, frozen foods, dry good etc.... I have walked out of there with my carriage FULL of great quality items and feed a family of 4 for almost 2.5 weeks for less than 150.... can't walk out of Walmart with that much stuff for that amount of money!!! My kids & husband love all the things we get there.. not to mention all the unique finds they have..LOTS OF GLUTEN FREE items!!! If it's something you are looking for...

I Always find good prices on quality off brand items! I have tried lots of their brand sauces, pasta, rice, veggies (frozen/fresh), cheese's, coffee, yogurt......I could go on but I think I have tried almost everything my family and I like to have in our house. I have not been disappointed yet! For a smaller store they do carry a great variety! I don't mind at all bringing my own bags and bagging my groceries, or using a quarter to get the grocery cart then getting it back when I put the cart back. FYI they do those things to keep the prices down for us! If we didn't bag our own groceries and use the quarter for the cart they'd have to have more staff and prices would go up, NO THANK YOU!!! This is a very different kind of grocer. There are many times they carry items I can't find anywhere else and I'm very happy that they carry them. However, suddenly these same items disappear from the shells and sometimes never to return. That is very upsetting to me what I find something that I really liked and then they no longer carry it. Also there have been many times when I purchase something thereand I go back a few days later to get more only to find out everything is gone and they have no idea if or when they will get more in. That is very frustrating. I feel the prices are pretty fair. I just wish their stock would be more consistent. Don't forget your quarter...
