Good meat selection. Horrible COVID precautionary measures and basic sanitary practice in general. I was surprised to see that they were not practicing even the most basic level of what I would imagine to be safe handling of meat. None of the employees had masks or were wearing gloves when handing product. From grabbing meat to swiping your card or taking cash, all was done without the use of gloves or the washing of hands in between customers and the exchange of currency.    Read moreVisited there when I was one of two customers in the store. Three workers out front and one later emerged from the back. Of the four, only two of them were wearing a mask correctly. For the other two, one had their mask on under their nose and you could occasionally see his mouth when talking. The other one had his mask hanging below his chin and was talking the whole time while handling the meats at face level on the scale. I was only there to get treats for my dog, otherwise I would have left. The store appeared clean but seeing the carelessness of the staff was not assuring.

When I called to check on some venison I brought in 3 weeks ago to get an idea of when I can expect it to be finished. The first guy that I spoke to responded to my question with “we’re working on it and it’ll be ready when it’s ready”. When I replied to that remark seeking to know where I am on the list I was transferred to another person who responded to the same question with “you’re first in line, along with 30 others right next to you”.
