I posted a review a few years ago on this arcade. It is a good arcade, maybe the best on the boardwalk. However, they have been getting a lot more expensive recently. It's not cool. Raising stuff that's $1 to $2 isnt cool. They've even disabled extra plays on some of their machines. That's a shame. I've always liked Frank's because they seemed to not be the most greedy, but its definitely a shame to see them raising prices and definitely weakening machines.
Update: just went today and I'm lowering my review. I've went here for years and this is actually embarrassing. It makes no sense to disable a 3 plays option on a standard size machine but have it enabled on a big size machine with bigger prizes. It shows that the workers clearly arent paying attention to the machines and are likely only checking on them to replace prizes or position them so they're harder to win. I played a machine labeled "easy" and it couldnt even pick up the prize. At this point their machines are unplayable and if this continues they'll start to lose a lot of business because when it comes to redemption games there has to be a profit to prize out ratio, and clearly the owners at Frank's have gotten greedy and have...
Read moreI don't agree with the other user AT ALL this place. Me and My Wife Go here ALL THE TIME best place ever no drunks or rowdy people nice place to just have fun and the staff is very nice never been rude once. LOVE THIS PLACE The games brake because COME excited young kids play them all day lol anyone with kids know they will find a way to break a brick wall so breakdowns happen stop being a baby. I can say from just seeing first hand of the course of me and my wife going there that they make it a priority to fix breakdowns fast, and if its a simple fix like a stuck quarter there not shy about being really cool and giving some quarters back so your not being robed like some other places. Thats my opinion someone who goes there so much thay me and mife wife hafe over a Million points. Oh ya AND they ordereds things from best buy and other places for your prizes WHO ELSE...
Read moreThe best arcade on the boardwalk, and probably my favorite I've ever been to. I enjoy arcades for the claw machines, so I can only speak on them, but the whole arcade is clean with a variety of games throughout. The staff is very friendly and helpful and make the whole experience even more enjoyable. Like most arcades, some of the claw machines don't allow exchanges for the prizes, but for the machines that don't, you can kindly ask the staff to rearrange the machine for you to put your favorite character towards the top instead of buried at the very bottom in an unwinnable position. The prizes are high-quality toys, and most of the games participate in happy hour where select games are half price. I have been going Point Pleasant for years, and this has always been my...
