update 3 as of 9/9/22 RUN from the Pooler store! Customer Service is absolutely no help and I am to just sit with a damaged beyond repair table and damage to my floors all due to the time frame of when the claim was called. The store manager, Andrew, not only told me the same thing, but was also very condescending, belligerent, highly unprofessional and completely disrespectful when I questioned him. After many wasted hours with not only Customer Service but also the Store Manager, that obviously has very little experience in the line of speaking to a customer in the way I’ve been spoken to in that he would “see me in court” and a “come at me” attitude to then be referred back to customer service. Bottom line- It’s a time of recession, everyone is looking for the best quality and service for their hard earned money. RUN to the other local stores that sell the same brand for not only better customer service but more mature, professional management that can actually speak to customers with some small measure of respect and decency and not like they are about to fight someone in a parking lot when they are in the wrong - which the pictures 💯 prove.
2nd posting…. The Pooler store as well as customer service has gone from an original 2 stars to negative if I could represent that somehow. In the time frame of the end of June until now, not only did the store manager lie to me regarding a follow up call with his manager (was told he would call me that same day- nothing) to having customer service giving me the standard “your claim is under review and should be receiving a call by the end of the week), for the past 4 weeks, I feel that I should update this review. Again, my sales agent and designer were great, but this experience and even the quality of the furniture can be outclassed by locally owned furniture stores. The “assurance” of resolution I have received has left me with permanently scratched floors, a damaged beyond repair table and the “guarantee” of a “call this week” for past several weeks. If you value not only your time but your money as well, I highly recommend the other quality, locally owned, furniture stores in the area. Again, RUN QUICKLY...
Read moreWe moved to Savannah recently, but had a great experience with La-Z-Boy in Atlanta when we furnished out last house. This store has stepped up the game and makes the trip to Pooler worthwhile.
Chris Greene greeted us in the showroom. He listened to what we wanted to do and was very effective in narrowing down useful pieces from the overwhelming selection in the showroom. We downsized to an older home, so our Atlanta furniture and rugs just didn’t work.
Even more challenging, our house is 46 years old, we’re the 6th owners, and each had made changes. It has a great view, and we wanted a theme that echoed those colors but also could accommodate company and send a message of comfort and welcome.
Chris introduced us to the design team, Damini and Pooja Patel, SCAD trained professional designers. All three came to the house and took detailed measurements of EVERYTHING in the rooms we wanted to furnish. They reviewed traffic flow, must haves, my awkward and imposing electronics and massive TVs.
The following week, we returned to the store so they could present an initial design and review some furniture options. This was a massive relief because we have zero ability to walk into a large showroom and understand what works and what does not.
They used design software to create scale models of our rooms with the furniture they recommended and the pieces we are keeping. We discussed this and color palettes for a couple of hours and left. The following week, they showed us the revised plan incorporated our earlier discussion. It was perfect. The store manager worked with us on pricing which we felt was very fair and reasonable. The design service cost nothing.
The furniture will take several months to arrive, which we expected. Custom furniture always has taken 2-3 months, but current conditions have extended that a bit. No business can afford to stock every possible piece in every variation, but this also means that we’ll get exactly what we want in the colors and fabrics that are right for us. Kudos to the store and staff for an outstanding...

First of all let me start by saying I am not necessarily the easiest person to deal with. I can be demanding. I can be hesitant to "pull the trigger" when it comes to selecting and purchasing an item.
That being said I want to tell you of the Pleasant experience I recently had at the local La Z Boy outlet.
After doing considerable research both online and in the store. And with the Help and Patience of a very kind , cooperative, and did I mention patient, sales consultant... named Peggy.... I was able to select and purchase , what I believe is the PERFECT Recliner, for Me.
She took her time explaining things and if she wasn't sure about something she found out rather than giving me an answer "just to satisfy me".
I feel confident, with her help, I made the right decision. BOTH for my Comfort.... and My WALLET. ( she made a good deal happen!)
Thank YOU, Peggy Y.
PS... I was so enthused I neglected something.
Recently I retired, but I spent a lifetime in the Retail world making my living. Its not an easy path, which the public needs to understand. I learned at least one important thing in my lifetime. You can't do it alone. I witnessed that during my recent dealings. It wasn't Peggy alone, She was smart enough to reach out when she needed assistance. She did so in my presence to a few of her fellow workers... and especially to what I believe is her manager... Andrew Watkins( which I just found out his name)
I wanted to add a special thanks to him.... and her co workers, which all .made my visit most rewarding. It Takes a TEAM!!! I learned that in...
