My Honey and I had been saying we were both gonna try Hot Pot for the first time together. He’s new to Savannah, and we’ve been passing this place up a lot. We decided we’d go here since it’s the closest place that offers hot pot. The ambiance isn’t really there, and you’re surrounded by people holding conversation and walking around the buffet, so the setting is not very intimate. We should’ve expected this when we noticed it was a buffet. We dressed up nicely, but our outfits did not match the setting at all, so definitely don’t hesitate to dress more casual. We probably looked very out of place😅. We decided to do both the hot pot and Korean BBQ. My honey did not enjoy his experience because, due to religious obligations, he cannot eat pork or anything made with it. We were told by our waitress that all of the broth options for the hot pot were a mixture of pork and beef broths. We were confused by this because there is a tomato option and one option with tofu. She offered him a soup base made water instead, which he ended up hating. I felt terrible. We both didn’t like the fact that the grills burned so easily, but the waiters are on it when it comes to replacing them! Ours was sure to tell us it’s normal to burn them so that we didn’t feel like idiots who didn’t know what they were doing. The chicken stuck to the grill even when the oil was sprayed first. My honey only liked the short ribs, his drink, anything with imitation crab, and the seaweed salad. He also hated the fact that raw meat was left to sit out in the open, but I refrained from judging so much because this is a new experience for me. He’d probably rate this place a 2/10. And the short ribs and his mango boba refresher that he loved are definitely carrying that rating lol. To me, the taste of everything was great. I had no dietary restrictions relevant to this place, so I went in with the Tom Yum soup base. At first, I was a little scared because the lemon taste was a little too strong, and the broth lacked any other flavor. But it was fine once I realized that there was so much that could be added to it. I went in with some garlic, spicy garlic, sesame oil, chopped onions, chopped green onion, and chopped chili peppers. That almost instantly changed the flavor of the broth and began to overpower the lemon. It was spicy, but I love spicy. Huge variety of things to grill and add to soup. I added some ramen noodles, 2 types of mushroom, bean sprouts, imitation crab meat, grilled chicken, pork dumplings, quail eggs, grilled pork belly, and grilled short rib to mine. It was super delicious, but I was sad when I got full. They do not let you take any leftovers home :( and the price was kinda up there. Not terrible for all the options, but come ready to eat! Strawberry Boba refresher seemed watered down at first, but a few sips in and I was lovin’ it. Definitely a refresher! Not really as sweet as juice usually is. Btw it was my first time trying quail eggs. Kind lady at the buffet told me I should try them. I was looking for regular chicken eggs. But They were okay. Slightly gamey after taste, but definitely edible. Crab salad and seaweed salad were both delicious. Our bill for Hot Pot & BBQ with our boba drinks came out to $91, not including our tip. Was kinda sad how much we spent and had to leave behind what we couldn’t eat. We both got full pretty quickly, and most of our time was spent burning the grill. Got crappy pics of the Hot Pot. You don’t wanna...
Read moreWe came to eat yesterday night, Sunday, August 17th, 2025 around 6PM so they were a bit busy. But that does not excuse the VERY RUDE server named “LULU”. Lulu was not our original server. Our grill caught on fire even though there was no food on it and we had turned it down, we were waiting patiently for our original server to come back and change the grill, but as the fire had gotten bigger we were forced to flag down another server for help. Lulu came to take the burning hot fired grill away and then the best part was she proceeded to LECTURE us in the most UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER POSSIBLE on not setting the grill on fire. We tried to explain that we did not put extra food on the grill and we did indeed turn it down to help prevent the fire. We also hotpot and grill at home often so we understand the process. We only came out to eat here as a special treat but we got served LULU’s VERY RUDE attitude instead. We tried to be patient and understanding of the situation, Lulu was not, she CONTINUED to give us attitude about the grill and made the rest of our night extremely uncomfortable for all of us to enjoy our meals properly as a family with children present. At that point we just wanted to leave since the atmosphere turned sour. The food was okay. Our original server was okay too. So we felt no need to take it out on her service, she was trying to put on a brave face. Lulu was clearly not having a good day and should probably find a different job since she hates dealing with paying customers. If we ever come back, we will make sure to request we get a section farrrrrrr away from such a rude server. We did not come out and pay to eat to be berated and belittled. Hope the restaurant can work on their customer service for all of their patrons and not just their own...
Read more2nd chance - So we had to return to this location due to a business dinner. And I have to say the second round was much better. The server that we had this time was much more attentive, but on return for another time, the service again was still slightly lacking. Most of the time there’s tons of people working there, but they just don’t pay attention as well.
The food this time around was much better. I would say for the Korean barbecue is the way to go. If you do want hot pot it’s not that bad of an option. The pork broth was much better than the tom yum.
overall, for this area, I would say that it’s not a bad option. So I have adjusted my review.

I’m from the Atlanta area. So i was excited to see that they had one of these restaurants down here in the Pooler Area .
So we came originally for the hot pot . The server response was only the hot pot. This kinda worried me . Once I got the broth and saw how everything was played out I was worried .
So taste wise , hot pot was way off the mark. I stopped eatting it and added the Korean Bbq .
I wouldn’t saw this is the best quality place here. It’s very generic. The flavors were kinda off compared to what I normally eat.
When I saw the frozen meat just sitting in there . I just shook my head .
Quality of meat wasn’t that good either .
Beware of the coke . Super syrup.
Service usually makes up for a lot of the issues but I had to hawk down our server or someone for multiple items. Most of the servers were just standing around or just looked unhappy. It was hard to get anything really .
Overall, I was highly disappointed cause we have this type of restaurant in the Atlanta area and it’s amazing . This was on the opposite end of that .
I had high hopes but I don’t think I will be...
