Alright, now if you're gonna lie, you gotta keep the lie small—or you're gonna get caught. Just ask this store.
If you don’t know yet, this store sells old antiques and also scams their customers.
Okay, listen closely. It was a while back when I went to the store with some friends. I was walking around when a Seattle Sounders jersey caught my eye. I looked at the tag, and it said $15. I asked my friend if I should get it, and he said yes—because for $15, it was a steal.
So I brought it up to the counter, and the cashier rang it up for $30. I only wanted it because it was cheap, but I didn’t say anything—I thought maybe I’d read the tag wrong. Still, in the back of my mind, I was convinced he upcharged it at the counter.
Now here’s where it starts to get wicked. Recently, some family visited from out of state. They went to the same store, and my auntie saw a necklace. The tag clearly said $15, so she brought it to the counter. He rang it up for $25. That’s a 66% upcharge. She thought she must have read the tag wrong too, so she didn’t say anything.

The people running this store are straight-up scamming anyone who walks in. I know it’s a one-star review, but honestly, I wish I could give it zero stars because of what they’re doing. So if you go here, make sure you're actually getting what you think...

Read moreAmazing selection of antique items from all walks of life-- and for a fair price too. I wanted to rate this place 5 stars, but upon getting home, I realized that all the bills they had given me for change were completely and obviously counterfeit. I'd imagine fake money is usually pretty hard to spot, but these were so obviously fake. Employees should take a few seconds to inspect money going into the register so that illegal tender isn't...
