Brown's Outdoor — Local services in Port Angeles

Shoped here 1/3/25 207 pm this is probably my 30th time shopping here but these people follow you around and stare at you around the corner they pass along whispers and a few boys always come out from the back behind the register like there ready to shoot you in the face.. The boys stand and stare from behind the women one never even said hello. This is not my only time with this issue. Remind you this is camping gear there selling backpacks and expensive forks and spoons granite it is slightly on the higher priced side only because it's marked up. This is not a bank,fire arms, Nintendo, gold silver, tools, cars or even close most items are 25 dollars which is affordable. ANYWAY I WILL NECER SHOP HERE AGAIN.. SEE...

Absolutely must drop in this wonderful store! Variety of quality brands, trending new items, seasonal and year round supplies, apparel... Looking for a tent? ..they are suspended from the ceiling as the reasonable square footage of this store can barely contain the vast inventory.

Added bonus.. this is an independent, family owned and managed store serving Port Angeles for 99 years!!! Met Mr Eric Brown on my third trip in and his knowledge of vendors, products, and local parks and recreation was simply fascinating. The Brown family and their employees all share a love of the outdoors and customer service not found in a chain store. Cannot wait to help them...

I was discriminated by the workers and shoppers in the store. They were watching me all the time and following me around the store. They treated me horrible. They all made me feel so bad for no reason, I just had to leave the store and walk away. I had an awful experience shopping. I didn’t buy anything, I didn’t feel comfortable in that environment. I consider this store the worst local store in town. I wanted to support local and get some camping stuff. People shouldn’t be rude for no reason. So disappointed about you guys. You are an important store in town but you only treat good to rich white shoppers. Respect people of another race! I am never...
