BUYER BEWARE! This local Sprint Dealer has no problem misrepresenting and will screw you "by omission" if they can!
I'm a multi-account Sprint advocate since 2003 and obviously believe in the service and products that Sprint offers and supports.
I Cannot, However, Condone the Misrepresentation and Underhanded Tactics Sprint's Port Hueneme, Ca Dealership -And That Dealer's Representative, Dennis- Is Guilty Of!
Specifically: At my request, I was introduced to, and offered to purchase, 1. an i-Pad-Pro its Keyboard and "pen", and; 2. a monthly "Plan" to service the i-Pad.
My Sales Rep was "Dennis". Dennis was insistent throughout my 45-minute visit that the combined payments for the equipment and service (approximately $55.00) would not exceed my current billing as results my eliminating an existing unused/old account equal in payment. I made it perfectly clear to Dennis that the equipment and "Plan" was not to exceed $55.00. I repeated the same several times over during my 45 minute visit: (the equipment and "Plan" was not to exceed $55.00) And he repeatedly replied: "Your payments will remain the same, once you eliminate the old account."
I was asked to sign two contracts (one each for the equipment and Plan...I was led to believe) on a digital machine where a line for my signature appeared. I was not offered copies of the (later discovered, 5 page each) contracts, rather, I was told I'd receive my copies of the Agreements via e-mail.
I did. And I called Sprint on Monday, the first business day following the sale. They informed me they were in receipt of the two contracts: One for the i-Pad and one for the keyboard and Pen. The "2nd" contract was not for the "Plan" as represented by Dennis! They told me I had to return to the Dealership to resolve the issue.
I first called then visited the Sprint Port Hueneme Dealership. The manager refused to talk to me...Dennis, however, was waiting for me. I asked him why he misrepresented the sale. He said he didn't. He repeated his original pitch: "The purchase resulted in no payment differentials." When I said..."Not the point..." and that he never told me that the key board and Pen were extra, nor did he ever state the 2nd contract I signed was not for the "Plan". His only answer was: "The payment remained the same and that I could return the keyboard and pen if I chose."
I did not return the equipment. I bought "The Package" for my wife as a much-wanted gift. Indeed, If Dennis would have been honest and taken the time to "pitch" the value of the keyboard and Pen, if only to make my wife happy, I might have gladly shelled-out the extra cost. He didn't! He conned me!
And guess what... He lied again regarding my new monthly payment not being increased. My monthly payment is now $24.38 higher! The exact amount of the monthly payment for the keyboard and pen.
Call me stupid, if you wish, for my not reading each of the two 5 page agreements before signing them.
As far as The Sprint Dealership in Port Hueneme; Dennis, and his boss, I say: To you who shop Sprint in Port Hueneme, CA: BUYER BEWARE! This local Sprint Dealer has no problem misrepresenting and will screw you "by omission"...
Read moreThis was my go to store for years but after today I will no longer be returning to this store. The line was so long to get help from an associate and the old lady Gloria that was writing names down was unbelievable rude. And when I asked her if she can help me with my issue all she said was someone will assist you soon. Then proceeded to walk around the store for 10 minutes until someone else walked in when her employees were clearly struggling to help customers. I also asked her about upgrading my phone and she said it wasn’t her job to help me and that I should just wait. Which was confusing because her badge said assistant manager. She was so rude it ruined my day. I will no longer be coming to this store EVER. Gloria is a terrible manager and I’m so sorry for her employees that they have to...
Read moreGloria needs training in customer service. She doesn’t have the delicate touch to come to talk in person. She screamed across the store what I needed. I got close to her and she goes “ I’m busy” So now I’m waiting for someone else that’s not Gloria to help me. Wow very gut wrenching way she acts with your customers. I will update on the rest of the staff soon.
Luis was very friendly & helpful not like Gloria (lady on the left of the photo)
