I love this place. This is like a better quality Chipotle. The funny thing is it’s the turn right before the shopping center for Chipotle. Don’t get me wrong sometimes you’re in the mood for chipotle I totally get it, but honestly it’s a better vibe at Filo Greek because it’s so unique! Chipotle is classic, but Filo has hummus, mixed veggies, a french fries bowl option and it’s what you’re craving when you don’t know what you want to eat. It’s right next to Cinnamon Tree.
Here’s what I order:
Bowl, Rice, Herbed Chicken😍, (i skip the mixed veggies don’t judge me but healthy people love them), Onions, Chick Peas (it pairs well with hummus and feta, Spicy Feta, Spinach Feta, and finally Garlic Sauce. I spend so much money here.
Don’t get their fountain drinks, it honestly taste like they don’t use enough syrup and I don’t think they clean it properly because it’s always gross. They definitely need to invest in a juice type of tea based drink like chipotle or panera has. Make it something that changes seasonally and sweet and wow they’d make $5-7 bucks easy. Their pastries aren’t worth it, I wonder if they even make money on them, they should up their game when it comes to the aesthetics of it since they are right next to cinnamon tree. Maybe I just don’t like greek pastries, that could be a me thing, but I ordered almost all of them to try once and they all tasted weird and bland.
Ambiance: It’s beautiful in here, but you never see anyone inside. Maybe because this is a stop and go place, but I think it’s because the music is too loud and the place is too empty which makes everything echo and there’s no sense of privacy for conversations. they should place some comfortable seating towards the entrance.
Keep in mind if you order a French Fri Bowl you’re going to be there a while. That wait time is always kind of irritating because it feels like there could be some sort of productive way for that to go a little faster.

Read moreI was not greeted when we came in, just asked for my order, I said I was there for the first time and the girl just blinked and didnt say anything. I asked what was good, she mumbles "everything"
Is customer service just dead these days?
Here I am, a brand new customer, coming in for the first time, I don't get greeted, I don't feel very welcome, I stumble through the ordering process, it was almost panful and get to the register.
The girl ringing me up asked if I had a phone number for their rewards program, I said no but you can sign me up.
She said she couldnt do that but I could do it "over there" pointing behind me.
I though there was a place to do it, and after I paid, I turned around and it was just tables. I have no idea how you join the rewards program because the girl gave me NO INFORMATION of use.
I wanted to like this place, the food wasn't bad, but the customer service was Really out there. and no it was NOT BUSY, so I dont get why we were just kinda left in the wind.
With so many places to eat in this area, if you want to retain customers, you should put in some more effort, I cant think of any reason to come back based on my...
Read moreGo here. Don’t go anywhere else. If you come to Daytona, this is the one place I would recommend above anything.
Oh my goodness, when I tell you that this puts every other fast casual restaurant to shame, I mean it.
I’m one of the biggest Chipotle lovers, so when I heard about a Mediterranean-style Chipotle restaurant, I had to try it.
First of all, the place is super clean. Staff are wearing gloves.
Second, it works like other “build-your-own” restaurants. You go down the line and tell them what you want.
I got a gyro rice bowl. The rice is insane. So much flavor through whatever stock is used to make it. The gyro meat itself is so flavorful. It is full of spices and then beautifully roasted on a vertical rotating spit. It is then grilled a bit to give it an extra char. It was incredibly juicy.
You can then load up on as many toppings as you want. All of them are so flavorful, and it’s great having items like garlic hummus, spicy feta, tzaziki, pickled cabbage, etc to add on top.
From the moment we started eating, we were blown away. It was so good. So flavorful, so fresh, so much food, and all...
