I don't know who homegirl with the red hair, bangs and glasses is that works there. She seemed like she could be a manager with the way she was addressing the new girl working there, but jesus christ she needs to work on her customer service skills. I have been going to different Great Clips locations for the majority of my life and NEVER have I ever been treated the way that I was today. I brought in reference photos; one showing what I was wanting and another to show what I didn't want. The photos were similar hair styles, but with slight differences in how the fade was done. I was about to explain to her what I didn't like in one of the photos and explain to her what I would like changed based on my previous haircut by another stylist. She proceeds to cut me off mid sentence and tell me that the issue was with the photos I provided. Granted, the photos I showed her were NOT shown to the previous stylist, but she made it a point to put the blame on ME when there was no blame to be had at all. The previous stylist did what she thought I wanted, which was completely fine at the time. I just wanted some changes this time around. The red head stylist with the glasses I had today could not be more snarky. She corrected an elderly guest there when they accidentally opened the wrong door when attempting to get to the bathroom and her tone was so rude and then rudely reprimanded the new girl for not telling the elderly guest which door he needed to use. I've been to this location multiple times. I've had my hair cut by different stylists there and have always left with a smile on my face and a haircut I liked. I have NEVER experienced treatment like today before. I will definitely not be returning to this location based strictly on my interaction with her. If that's the kind of management they have there, I do not want to be giving my money so support her. To top it off, I hate the way my hair turned out and will now have to pay to have it fixed - something I have also never experienced with Great Clips in the past. Red head girl with the glasses, if you're reading this, I truly hope you look into some customer service training so that your guests can get the quality service...
Read moreI hate so much to write a bad review. I know people are just trying to do their jobs, but in this case, I feel the need to protect others from having the same horrid experience at a hair salon that we returned to only because of the location. Absolutely, positively some of the worst haircuts my partner has received. Our first stylist did a nice job the first time, but then his results were completely inconsistent after the first time, with random chops and chunks visible. He was nice enough, but we wanted to try someone else. The second stylist was an awful experience. His work station was FILTHY... hair just everywhere. I wanted to stand up and say "nope," and should have, but I tried to be polite and give him a chance. He ignored what we were asking for, even length requests, and basically told us that he knew better what to expect. He didn't. I'm social and friendly, but this guy talked nonstop about himself and wouldn't even let us interrupt to be part of the conversation. Truly, he'd just talk over us when we interjected. Bad haircut again. Then, our most recent time was the final straw. We had a female stylist who insisted that she was detail-oriented. WORST CUT probably ever! She was visibly in a hurry, and cut my partner's hair like a lawn. She kept trying to strip the cape off and say she was done, and we had to point out all of the areas she completely had ignored, asking "what about the neck?", then "what about around the ears?", and "what about the fact that the front is uneven?" We asked for long bangs to the brows, and he got mid-forehead dorky length. Once we got home, it was also evident that there were shelves and lines, diagonal choppy overly short bangs, and the neck hair still was long like a fringe. Never again. ...

Had checked in online and when I got there walked in with another customer who had also done so. She was one behind me in the list. The woman who came up to check us in and who ultimately cut my hair was an older lady with dark hair. Immediately she exuded an energy of confusion and anxiety. Like it was either her first day working there or first day cutting hair. Talking to herself about how do I do this, do that. Picking up on this, when she asked who was next I politely offered the other lady waiting to go ahead of me. Unfortunately, the barber said she had checked me in first and I was up. I almost faked a phone call to leave when I got to her station which was immensely dirty and unorganized. Tons of hair from past customers still on her clipper attachments (which she dropped on the floor during my cut). I told myself relax, even though everything was telling me to leave I wanted to be kind and give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it'll be ok, after all, hair grows back. So, I took a deep breath and settled in, ignoring my instincts. What I got was an inexperienced barber, second guessing herself audibly. Even though she ran the clippers over my head soooo many times I found long hairs I had to cut myself when I got home. The fade I asked for was non-existent and the hair left on top of my head was a cartoonish mop. Worst haircut ever, I will never go to a chain again for a haircut and the small tip I left as she stared me down paying I wish I could take back. I am seriously considering just buzzing my head on my own now and throwing away the $ I just...
