Here is what happened to me. The bed I purchased and the one that they delivered were not the same. I did not notice until the mattress began to break down. Whatever caused that I do not know how it could be made so CHEAPLY that this could happen in 6 months. This $679 mattress sells at Standard TV for $279 so you can see they make a nice profit. I am tired of being taken advantage of these days so I decided to go to BBB for assistance in getting my cash back. What happened there was a complete mockery of my complaint and the BBB. Nobody that answered my complaint wanted to take care of me at all. In fact they even focused on a delivery issue and completely overshot the problem that was that the mattress I have is NOT THE ONE I BOUGHT. They just don't want to hear it. I did not know that buying a mattress was like buying a used car but be advised at this place it sure is. If you shop here take a camera along. Photograph what you buy. Read everything on your receipt and if they gift you anything be sure it says FREE on the receipt or they will charge you later if there is any issue. And if ever a mattress salesman tells you that "A MATTRESS SHOULD FIT LIKE A SHOE" you had better run because you are just being groomed to accept it when your mattress caves in in the middle like they say it is supposed to do I guess. Yes they want to give me another one but I don't want another cheap bed! I want my money back and they have offered me $390. Lets see 679-390=$289.00 I get to lose due to NO FAULT of my own. Great Service & Selection. I came in and had a fantastic salesman Thomas Burnett show me several options for the type of mattress I wanted. I went in thinking for sure I wanted a medium firm spring mattress like I used to have. After Talking to Thomas and looking at those options he suggested some other types. I never got the feeling of being pressured to make a purchase and was shown several recommendations. He was very helpful and PATIENT despite my finicky criteria due to my sleep and body pain/heat issues from CFS/Fibromyalgia symptoms. I decided on a HYBRID FIRM Copper II by Sealy and i'm very happy with my purchase. You obviously will pay a little bit more than ordering online. BUT, this has your mattress delivered into your home and the old one taken away the very next day after you purchase it. The two men who delivered this mattress were also fantastic, one put the queen sized hybrid on his shoulder and carried that thing into my apartment, the other carried the box spring the same way... after they left I tried just lifting that mattress and couldn't. It took only a few minutes for them to deliver the new mattress and remove the old one. Also, don't forget to have cash to tip these guys after they deliver it to you. I luckily had some on hand and didn't even think about it until they pulled up. Everyone I've encountered from this Co. were extremely polite, informative, fast, and efficient. The salesman, Thomas, sized me up well, asking appropriate questions about my preferences and sleep habits as we examined options for firmness.

We quickly homed in on a midline Simmons bed at price well within my stated budget. It was in stock and deliverable the next day.

A reasonable additional fee covered delivery, setup and a haul-away of an old mattress.

Mattress World offers a 90-day "comfort exchange" (exchange not a refund) option if you are unsatisfied with your choice. This incurs an additional fee in the form of a purchase of a protective mattress cover, which cost is about same as the delivery fee. This is optional and will help you if you take delivery and shortly discover you made the wrong choice.

Warranty issues are a separate matter and handled by the bed manufacturer. Mattress World will help coordinate service in the unlikely event of a defect.

It is the local support that I value: help with my choice and ensuring the bed is handled by people with an interest in the sale, from factory to my place.

And the price was competitive with big-box stores.

The Simmons bed I got is comfortable, odorless, priced well, and getting it was effortless.
