Very friendly and helpful service in a very sanitary salon.
Made an appointment online for a pedicure, wasn’t sure what to expect. When we arrived, we checked in, then selected the nail colors from a bin of very confusing samples… or from the rotating polish stand! We were then directed to our seats, which were massage chairs with foot basins that had fresh sanitary liners.
The massage chairs were great, but the display for the remote was broken in mine which made it a mystery what i was selecting. I also didn’t know anything about choosing the right nail polish, when asked if I wanted varnish. There was a slight language barrier, but another employee quickly jumped in to help.
The basic pedicure was pretty good. My water was a bit cool, and I was too ticklish for some parts, but my toes were painted so neatly and overall it was a very relaxing experience. It included a foot wash, cuticle trim, scrubby leg massage, and some callus removal, then nail trim and paint.
Would gladly go back, it was great for a...
Read moreTHEY ARE NOT WEARING MASKS!! I made an appointment for manicure/pedicure at Plumeria Nail Salon. Their website states that they are very concerned about their customer's safety regarding Covid-19 and masks are required! As I sat down, I noticed that the manager of Plumeria was not wearing a mask. I mentioned it to my nail technician and she asked her coworker to put it on. She complied. Then a few minutes later, I noticed another employee not wearing a mask! I mentioned this again and they made excuses that she was sweeping the floor and was not near customers. They have a sign on their front door stating that masks are REQUIRED. I was and am appalled that they are not following the mask MANDATE and putting their customers at risk. Unacceptable and irresponsible. Needless to say, I got up and left! I went down the street to Lotus Nail Salon where everyone was wearing a mask, following social distancing and adhering to the protocols necessary because of the...
Read moreI loved one person there and still do. It’s not the quality but how they handled a situation. She cut my cuticle extremely too much and started bleeding. She put a ton of powder to make it stop and it never stopped. It hurt so much. I kindly asked for a bandaid and said I’ll just come back when my finger is healed. They informed me since they had already cut my cuticles that was the manicure. I kindly asked if it can just be done again since she had put powder on it and assumed it would stop bleeding. They said if I didn’t want polish that was up to me but that essentially my manicure was done whether I wanted polish or not. I had already paid for the manicure in advance but really felt based on the injury and not finishing it was ok to come back. I was not upset at the injury but at the fact that they cared more about keeping $35 than making me whole once my...
