Location was nice, the front desk staff were empathetic, kind, and tried to accommodate. The owner is awful, and disrespectful. ||||We were checked into room 108, went to Monster Jam came back at 9:40 pm. The door to our room wouldn’t open, being as we had two young children we were placed in another room, to get the kids to sleep. Our belongings were still in room 108. The front desk called me around 10:40 pm said the options were after the owner had been at the hotel.||||we can get into the room in about 2 hours, putting us at 1 am to get into the room with our items. Or we can wait till 9 am and then have a check out of 1 pm instead of the 11am, I asked can it be 8:30 am to get our stuff at the latest. I did go down to the front desk to check in but the owner had left already and NEVER spoke with me leaving the young front desk man to handle communication.||||I said well we have to go with the second due to the fact I know my child is up at 6 am and 5 hours of sleep doesn’t seem like enough. ||||At 3:45 am I woke up to people screaming in the halls and running. I started to worry people were going to steal our items that were still in the other room. Barely going back to sleep I was up at 6.||||In the morning I asked the front desk if there was any movement on the situation he said the owner will be there at 9. I was told he wasn’t very informed of the situation but he will look into it.||||At 8:30 I got a knock on the room we slept in telling me that the room with our stuff was open. I said okay and I asked if he was the manager he said yes. I said I do expect we get compensated for this being as we slept in our clothes and the anxiety it caused and discomfort. He said you’re getting a late check out and you can get your stuff. I said that isn’t enough this should never happen at a hotel, and be allowed to go on for 12 hours. He said well I’m not doing anything I said I’ll call Expedia and choice hotels. He said fine I asked for his district manager he said there isn’t one, I asked for the number of the owner he said there isn’t one.||||I got our items to the room we slept in. Then went downstairs to have a conversation but once again he had left. The front desk called him, and he then yelled at me how we got our stuff he wasn’t going to do anything. He then accused me I just wanted a free room. No I wanted to have the items I packed with me if I didn’t want my stuff and to feel safe I could’ve slept in my car. When I said the master key is supposed to be on site at all times how he was doing things was illegal he said oh fine sue me. He told me f you and to get the f out of his hotel by 11 am. Then he hung up on me.||||I promised the kids we’d take them swimming so we do, I take my child back to the room to get ready to leave they turned out key card off couldn’t get into the building so my child is in a wet swimsuit in 40 degree weather. I had to run to the front desk to get the key card on to get our stuff from this hotel and leave. ||||It was the worst most appalling experience...
Read moreMyself and two co-workers stayed here for 4 nights while in town on business. We stayed here due to availability and our travel allowances. My room was clean and comfortable, and my bed was comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, but was clean. The breakfast is basic with sausage, egg like square things, waffles and the usual breakfast items. My room was on the first floor and the staircase was directly outside my window, so I could never have the blackout curtains open and I lived in a dungeon. The staircase also makes loud vibrating noises whenever someone walks up. One of my coworkers booked with Expedia and somehow had their reservation split into two stays. That was not the hotels fault, but Expedia. However, when we all checked in the front desk clerk told my coworker that he would put the two reservations together and they would not have to change rooms. Well, two days later the hotel manager caller them and very rudely told them they had to pack up and move rooms, and if they were not back in an hour, he was going to pack their stuff up and move them himself. My co worker and I were at lunch and they told him the clerk said they did not have to move and both reservations had been merged into one. The manager very rudely told my coworker that they were lying and they had to move. My coworker took a cab back to the hotel and while en route the manager called them to say they had a "cancellation" and they didn't have to change rooms. The manager refused to reimburse cab fare due to this. I know all of this for a fact because I was there when we all checked in and heard the desk clerk say they didn't have to change rooms. I also heard the manager and his very rude tone and accusing my coworker of lying because I heard the conversation on their phone, so this is not hearsay. I have never stayed at a hotel that had such terrible management. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel. Mr. Patel, the manager, is truly NOT an asset to the company and I have never experienced such rudeness in all of my travels. This experience is primary why I usually avoid hotels like this at all costs. You get what...
Read moreI stayed here for a work convention. This is by far the most inaccessible building I’ve ever been in. I made my reservation weeks in advance and said I am a wheelchair user and need an accessible room and accessible route from my room to the lobby. Somehow, the only available room when I arrived was on the second floor. It baffles me that there are not only not enough accessible rooms on the ground floor, but ZERO rooms on the ground floor, for someone who made reservations this early. I was put in the room literally the farthest from the elevator and closest to the stairs. The room is technically an ‘accessible room,’ which leads me to believe whoever designed this hotel just hates disabled people. Who puts the accessible room as far away from the elevator as possible? The only way to access the second floor in a wheelchair is to go into the parking garage (with a very steep, poorly maintained incline) and use the world’s smallest elevator. The actual room isn’t much better. The door is incredibly difficult to open while using a wheelchair because it’s heavy and swings right into there you have to sit to put the key in. The front hallway lights are almost reachable, but the bathroom ones aren’t even close. It’s a good thing I can stand briefly because I’d be completely in the dark otherwise. The bathroom is barely wide enough to be called accessible. The only easily available power outlets that can be reached without pulling out a lamp cable wasn’t positioned correctly for me to plug in my phone charger block, and I had to get a new one. The most unfortunate thing about this is that the location and pricing is fantastic for someone attending a convention or conference. Still, it is completely ridiculous to call this an accessible building. If you have a mobility impairment, stay...
