I love this convenience shop. It pisses me off we have vagrants from the recent bum infestation loitering around outside on the corners periodically. John and his wife are some of the friendliest and warmest people you will meet. While the store and it's offering are outstanding on their own, it's the ownership which will make this a mainstay in downtown Portland for years to come. Been in a few times, not really impressed. The prices are high for what it is, although the guy behind the counter is nice enough. Bought a pair of headphones to get me through the day, paid $9.99. Only used them long enough to hear the quality in the left was horrible and the right wasn't much better. When approached the next day was told he could exchange, but not refund.
