Check your receipts. I noticed after leaving I had been charged $55 for a roll of electrical tape. When asked about it they said "he must have put the wrong price in," without apology. Apparently manually putting in prices depending on the situation is a normal occurrence here.
A metal electrical box was $18 when a nicer version was $5 at home depot.
