Construction is way too long. Traffic is bad every single day. People were driving very rudely. Homeless people are everywhere. 2016 I came to Portland area from Washington DC. That time Portland was beautiful, clean, cute and amazing city. Even when I walk at 2-3am around in Portland I wasn’t scared at all. Now days different story. I can’t walk or jog anymore with my phone over midnight. Sometimes I don’t want to go by myself. Kinda sad. Who has the responsibility to clean this city, bridge… and drugs.. so sad and painful. I was sick and tired of Washington DC, Boltimore MD and ghetto places in East Coast. But Portland isn’t different than there. So Sad.. but still beautiful night views.

Morrison Bridge in Portland, Oregon, is a cool bridge. It has the older architecture, and there have been very few times I have seen a bridge raise for the ships and barges that run up and down this river. With the cargo that is unloaded off of these enormous ships, one would think they would run aground, but these are not your average rivers. This is the Willamette River Valley, and it's awesome. As always, leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉

I don't know why but I find it hard to feel a connection with Morrison Bridge. Maybe because the highway structures at its east end are pretty complicated and it's the least preferred bridge for runners among those in Portland city center. The area right under Morrison Bridge on the east bank is the only place in Portland that I feel a bit uneasy when running in the dark.

This Bridge is truly one of many bridges in Portland. It spans so much water and carries oh so many cars and bikes and people. Sometimes it is too low to allow tall boats to pass safely so it opens up as a draw bridge. Two epic ramps facing each other begging for a motocross stunt biker to jump the gap while wearing a Darth Vader cosplay outfit in true Portland fashion. Please use this bridge so it never feels unnecessary...
