I've tried a bunch of Thai restaurants in Portland so it was time to try Beau Thai. I went around 1pm and it was very quiet inside. (The place has a huge dining room) I ordered off the lunch menu and got my traditional Tom Yum soup and ordered #19 Pad Pug Ruammit < stir-fried chicken, broccoli, carrot, bok choy, spinach, cabbage, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, baby corn and a mild sauce. I would describe both dishes as OK.. uninspired cooking. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good either. This place seems to have lost way...the most boring Thai food I have tried to date. Service was decent, interior was marginally clean. Lots of maintenance could be done..including fixing the awning in front. Based on how slow I always see this place, I'd predict it closes in the next year. (This place could be made into a nice BBQ place..the NW needs one.)

Meh. It’s edible. Ordered a simply yellow curry noodles — add chicken. (extra $1.50 !!) Gah. Where’s the chicken? Oh, a few TINY pieces… guess they “waved a chicken over it” and called it good. Nope. Won’t be ordering here again. Not when it’s $13 for a meal that comes out of a robot locker. Really, folks — at least give me some chicken — and especially when you charge for it! :-/

It's some ghost kitchen ran out of grand ave food with alright pad kee mow except no spice and awful calamari and pot stickers. The fried rice my girlfriend got was very noticeable not fried and didn't have egg in it. Even the sweet and sour was bad with an off taste which I haven't dealt with before. Overall pretty bad would not go back.

Fast great food, sometimes they put a little too much greasy noodles so you can always ask him to be light on the oil but I can tell you this even if there is a pound of grease on it you would still love it I honestly order from this place at least five to six 10 times a month they're very good and their prices are usually understanding if you get inspired at all by my review please go eat there they need the money I've been this is their struggling and they're struggling hard they're going out of business everywhere so the only thing we can do and we might not have the money but karma is real and I believe that when I ordered my pad Thai I got home and I found a $50 bill laying on the table I couldn't believe it now I'm not saying that $50 bill was because of the restaurant how nice I have treated them or how nice they've treated me but thank you I know there is no $50 bill when I left cuz I would have taken it and I would have thought what the hell cuz I would have saw it $50 bill on a white table have a good day guys San go support our...

I miss this place when it was on NW 21st.

I ordered for the first time after relocation; tom kha w/tofu and Yellow Curry Fried Rice w/chicken.

Tom Kha: broth was amazing as always but I felt the tofu was added in too late and didn't really blend well. It was cut in super thick slabs as well. I don't know if it was always like this but the tofu didn't blend as well with the soup as I remember in days past.

Curry Fried Rice: Sadly the Yellow Curry Fried rice was very disappointing. The color and taste did not match up at all. Despite being yellow it tasted nothing like curry; but rather had a strong white pepper taste. The vegetables and chicken also didn't incorporate as well into the dish as it usually does so it ended up tasting bland.

I normally order the Green Curry Fried Rice and I will never forget how amazing it tasted at its best; so I only hope that this was a one-off mishap. I know the industry is tough but I truly hope I can taste the flavors...

Make no mistake I don't like leaving a review for food like this but when special instructions are not followed for dietary restrictions it can't be helped. A visiting friend was hungry and wanted Thai food late at night. After finding this restaurant still open we ordered delivery with special instructions detailing no citrus of any kind due to her severe allergies to all things citrus such as lime. Somewhere in receiving this order and it's delivery a mistake was made and my friend ended up in the hospital with a severe allergic reaction because of the inclusion of citrus. Regardless of the food this should not have happened. Even telling us they could not accommodate her and refunding the order would have been acceptable. Because of this reason I am giving 0 stars regardless of the quality of the food. The entire dining experience whether dine in or delivery also goes into the rating no matter how good or not...
