Worst experience, should have read the reviews! In broad daylight between 11:30am-12:30pm ppl broke our rear window & stole everything: 2 suitcases, 2 bags of toddler toys even though everything was covered with a big black moving blanket / hidden, our windows heavily tinted, back window shades up. We know the security guy is in on it - he walked past our car when we first parked, looking at us and our car too long, then texted on his phone, then walked away. We wondered what was up. We found him when we were leaving & he claimed he was on a break when it happened. Happened to see my stolen iPad on the Find My Devices app about 5 blocks away & drove by to see one suitcase partially covered by a homeless guyâs tarps right on the side of the street. Recovered half our things by just taking it back (they dumped most my & our toddlerâs things, looks like they missed my iPad in with a child crafts bag lol), but they got away with the suitcase that had my husbands clothes (his wasnât there). We were smart enough at least to have taken our backpacks with all our electronics & valuables when we had to run a mall errand before a 3hr drive home. Luckily âDr. Glassmanâ in NE PDX was open on a Saturday to replace the back glass (he had one in stock), tho it took 3 hours out of our day. Met two other people at the auto glass repair shop who also had their car windows smashed & stuff stolen while in the Pearl District (tho one was just a diaper bag, the other was a stripperâs âwork clothesâ - she had to laugh about that). Avoid downtown PDX!!! Thanks a...
Read moreParked here at the suggestion of the Moxy Hotel because the hotel does not have its own parking. Next morning we came out to our car window being broken and alot of things missing from our car. Anything that was visable or out in the open to indicate there was something in our car worth stealing? Nope. But it was gone just like that. The owner/manager of the garage was very unsurprised about the damage and stolen items. He stated he would call us on the 30th or 31st as it was the 29th at the time. We never got a call. I called the parking structure today (1/10) and spoke with another manager who works there. She took down a report etc. Not that she wasn't nice and helpful, but this review is to deter people from getting their cars damaged or items stolen. Its not worth it and until the owners figure out more security overnight...or some sembalence of an alternate fate to what happens now...don't do it. Park at your own risk......
Read moreThis place is junk. The exit ticket machines are routinely broken, so someone has to be posted rushing back and forth trying to manually enter cards to let you out. Today, the line of cars to get out was backed up to the fourth floor. The upside was this time they had to just start letting people through for free, but if they're gonna do that, they might as well just leave the gates lifted up so that poor guy doesn't have to rush back and forth taking tickets and overriding the machine each time in each lane. It took twenty minutes to get out.
Also the elevator has been making an alarm-like ringing noise non-stop for at least a week and there's no maintenance permit on display and I'm deeply concerned that with the apparent lack of maintenance throughout the garage, that thing is on its last legs and will plunge us to our deaths one...
