Great idea, not entirely sure in its execution. I’ve been to a lot of similar events and was surprised that there weren’t more hand made gifts and variety, there were a lot of commercial offerings which is fine but not the balance I was expecting. We purchased from several vendors but was not able to complete our gift list. There’s an entrance fee for both visitors and vendors, which means the vendors don’t appear to be offering any market specials. Portland is one of the best locations for Unique Markets to settle into as there are so many talented artists packed into this little city. I have attended Unique Markets three times now and each time, I have walked away with a few bags full of gifts and things for me to enjoy (really beautiful earrings, a gorgeous ceramic trivet, StraightAway cocktail mixes, a sweet seasonal scarf for my pup, and gorgeous rugs are just a few things I can think of that are sitting in my home as I type this). I follow Unique Markets on IG and, once the upcoming market dates are announced, I tag or forward it onto a handful of friends. We almost always end up meeting there post-brunch. This is a really fun market that you (and your friends) don't...

(Including paying all employees, no volunteers or interns!!) Definitely made a friend, bought some amazing accessories, & brought home a bazillion business cards. Very inspiring!! The Topo Chicho booth giving out free mini bottles was a highlight! So refreshing! Thanks so...
