Boxwood Cafe — Restaurant in Portland

I had the top sirloin , rare AF and was not let down. Excellent dinner and service. My friend ordered the shrimp pasta. We both cleaned our plates and were very satisfied. With gratuity I spent $100 for 2 dinners 1 drink. Picture doesn't do it justice because it was plated beautifully prior to destroying it. I don't normally care about grabbing photos of my food but it was so delicious I thought I would this time. The restaurant was understaffed as it took a long time to get our menus and water. The waiter was pleasant but very busy. My Bolognese was bleh, some noodles were clumped and stuck together and there was not any sauce, just ground meat mixed in which was bland. My friend enjoyed her salmon but was told it doesn't come with potatoes, although the menu says it does. She got them but after insisting. Very weird! The atmosphere was quite loud with TV's.
