Had such a fun time here! You book a time slot for your candle class. My mom and I were able to get in the same day we booked. The staff, or owner, will walk you through the process. It’s really fun getting to pick the scent of your candle. You select from a wide variety of sense that you can mix and match… They also provide some recommended combinations which my mom and I both used. Then you get to pick both your candle size and the candle jar. Price is very on both the size and the type of jar you pick. You mix your scents, then pour in the wax.

It looks like you can also BYOB, but I’d suggest calling to verify.

The only thing I’d keep in mind is that you need to wait 2.5 hours or so for the candle to set. So if you’re not local, make sure you’re doing this earlier in the day or on a weekend trip, etc. They can mail it to you, but I assume you pay for cost of shipping.

This would be a fun activity for couples, friends, bachelorette parties, and more.

In the Portsmouth, New Hampshire location with nine of my closest friends for a group event candle making class and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. They also take walk-ins BYOB and delivery services for your candles it comes with the works with great instructors that teach you everything candle essential oils over 100 different sense and more don’t miss out on opportunity to be wowed with the great experience attached. This is my new favorite spot in Portsmouth! I stopped in on Mother’s Day while walking back to my hotel and ended up buying half the store. They have a gorgeous, albeit small, children’s section with some of the most whimsical little pieces you could ever hope to find. I was so tempted to buy one of the Chappywrap blankets because no exaggeration, they are the softest blankets I’ve ever touched.
