I’ve been a patient for 3 years, my doctor just quit there in March and sent out a letter saying I needed to be established with a new doctor, I called in January to get established with someone else and was told by the front desk I didn’t need to do that because I was an existing patient and could see any of the doctors there! I called yesterday because I needed a referral for a different appt and Debbie was so extremely rude to me on the phone and very unprofessional telling me that I did not have a doctor and that a letter was sent out to me and when I told her what the front desk lady had told me before she responded with “well I don’t know who “she” is but that that is incorrect” and then told me only 1 doctor is taking new patients and is 3 months out, and how busy they are will all the new people moving to town! When I brought it up again what was said to me she then said well I’m sorry that’s how you interpreted it! I also told her she should let the front staff know that the info I got was not correct and she did a little rude laugh and said I’ll be sure to tell them that! After that horrible experience with Debbie I will now be looking for a new doctors office! And according to all these other reviews the front office really needs some...

I’ve had great experiences under Dr Stabler, he is a fantastic physician and truly listens to find out what is needed. However, since he transitioned away from internal medicine, this clinic has struggled and honestly has felt like they’ve hung patients out to dry. I asked to be put on a waiting list to see the new DR, after several months of waiting, I call to check where I am on the waiting list and am told I was not on the waiting list and that it would be another 4 months at least before I was able to be seen. This was frustrating, but with no pressing issues I was willing to wait. I hear no updates for several months until I receive a call saying they are not going to refill my SSRI prescription until I establish care with a PCP. That they need to ensure that I’m on the correct medication and dose. I’ve been on this medication and dose for a very long time, with no issues. The physicians at Kootenai Family Med Post Falls are great however the medical assistants pretty much all need some professionalism training. First every single assistant in the office strolls to the coffee shop while on the clock with several patients waiting in the waiting room. Then they all come back together each one of them holding their coffees and snacks laughing and apologizing to all the waiting patients in the waiting room as if that kind of behavior is professional in any way whatsoever or even ok really. Emded up waiting 45 mins total past my check in time and 20 minutes past my actual appointment time to even be roomed.
