NAAAHHH BRO, this is bad, please people rethink before going here lmaooo, brought in my pc 17th of Jan, because I was having display issues, I had messed with and tested everything except for the motherboard and CPU, every wire, display ports, does not give me my display still, so I came to them for a last resort, they were super nice at the start and what not and I explained over the phone and in person that I know for a fact it is something to do with the motherboard or CPU, and were understanding of that, told me it might be a little bit because they’ve been busy, understandable, I’m thinking a week or 2 before I hear anything at all, well week 3 came nothing, I called Monday morning, owner seems very nice on the phone just like I talked to her the first time about coming in, told me they just got to it and they were testing my gpus, I had 2 in the pc mind you, and I was a little confused cause there’s 2 in there because I was getting no display with any gpu’s, so I know it’s not them, but letting it go and just knowing they got to it made me feel better, well 2 more weeks go by, so I call again on Monday, once again very nice lady over the phone saying that they “just got done testing the gpu’s”😑 bro what, so I was a little irritated but was told that’s it was looking to be the motherboard, which I already knew, but I was told that I would get a call in a day or 2 for my pc, I was happy to hear that, so I waited, and Monday of next week came, so I called, got nothin, got a call back after a while same nice lady, asked her what was going on cause I was promised a call and it never came, she proceeded to laugh and apologize saying last week got outta hand but with really no explanation, (I work customer service, I know when someone’s trying to cover their ass) so i asked what was up with it then and she proceeded to tell me they think it’s my motherboard and because it’s a prebuilt (which yes, the motherboard is a prebuilt, but I have changed everything else about it besides the cpu) they told me they couldn’t work on it and that I should consider a new motherboard and all this other stuff but I was already upset, my pc has now been sitting down there for over a month, just for them to tell me the same shit I told them day 1, I got a little upset and said “yeah I know that, I told yall that day one” and this is where the icing comes on the cake, she proceeds to tell me that I TOLD THEM that I was having GPU issues and I did not explain to them the situation, ☠️ when I say my blood boiled, that shit boiled, manipulating my words??? Ma’am, there’s no way in hell, considering I know damn well I ain’t say that, so I got a little upset over the phone and told her right in the spot that I did not say that or any bullshit and told her exactly what I said while saying I said it over the phone and in person, it was quiet on the phone for a few seconds cause nah wtf, but I don’t wanna let anger get in the way so i cooled my ass down and made sure she knew that, started talking about cpus because I already have anew mother board that just needs a cpu, I had already found the exact ones online it needs and at good prices for me, I asked if I can buy my cpu through them and she said yes and I asked if there was an installation fee, she proceeds to say yes and tells me it’s hourly, I heard that and already knew it would be bad, $150 AN HOUR! And tells me it would average around 3 hours, dude that’s around $450-600 for a cpu installment, no way in hell are you selling me out like this right now, and I just didn’t want to be on the phone with her anymore but she proceeded to tell me to send her pictures of my motherboard and cpus I have in mind and that she would get back to me in an hour, so I did, and she got back to me in time, and told me the cpu alone would be an extra like $30-40 then what I was looking at, same cpu tho, and then “gives me a deal” for only $1650, brand new pcu all the way around, bruh no, so I went got my pc next day, I paid $60 for this shit, wasted my...

Update as of 1 July 2025 (Google won't let me write a completely new review): I first used PC Simplicity’s services when I retired here from the Washington DC area about seven years ago. They did a great job restoring my gaming PC which had been damaged from the move and from being in storage. A few years later they upgraded my system, and a few years after that they upgraded it again.

Most computer stores want to sell you a computer they build their way, with their selected components and their selected software. Few will work with a customer to build exactly what the customer wants. PC Simplicity does exactly that.

I had been planning my new gaming PC upgrade for several months, and I finally received the final component and took it to John at PC Simplicity to assemble, configure, and test. The build uses an MSI MEG X870E Godlike motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor, and an MSI GeForce RTX 5090 SUPRIM SOC GPU.

I handed John a very, VERY detailed instruction sheet specifying exactly how I wanted my machine assembled, and he didn’t even bat at eye. He put it together the way I wanted it, ensured it was “burned in” and stable, and delivered a top-end gaming rig that will serve me for several years to come. John is a stone-cold expert and a consummate gentleman.

I highly recommend PC Simplicity.

KC and his band of technology wizards at PC Simplicity are incredible. About a year ago, he restored my primary gaming desktop which had been sitting in a storage unit for six months, completely re-doing the liquid cooling system and fixing a boot issue. A month later, he repaired the main cooling fan and fixed an OS issue with my secondary gaming desktop. Most recently, he upgraded my primary gaming desktop with a new motherboard, new CPU, new graphics card, new memory, and upgraded liquid cooling. Since my case is extremely large and heavy and requires two people to safely transport, he came to my home to help me load it into my Jeep, and unload it after the upgrade was complete. Now that’s service! He performed the upgrade as if it were his own computer, making absolutely sure everything was “just so” and that the overclock was as effective as possible while remaining absolutely stable. I’m now running an Intel Core i9-9900KF on an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Extreme Z390 motherboard, with 64GB of DDR4 3600MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum and an NVidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU. CPU and GPU are liquid cooled, overclocked, and tweaked to maximum performance. I’m seeing consistent 60 fps frame rates, at Ultra settings, on what is probably the most demanding game out there (now under development in playable Alpha). I would have thought that this high level of work would be horribly expensive and time-consuming, but his price for his labor and expertise was more than fair and the turn-around time was extremely quick. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. In five or six years, when it’s time for my next upgrade, you can be sure I’ll trust it to...

I had a terrific experience at PC Simplicity. I have an 8 year old MacBook Pro laptop. The hard drive crashed. Normally I would just buy a new computer, but I liked this one. The new ones seem so thin and fragile to me. I’m a little physically rough on them, so this chunky older model was perfect. A mutual friend suggested I take it to PC Simplicity. The other thing was that I had not backed up a couple important documents. When I talked to the owner there, he suggested I replace my crashed drive with a newer/bigger solid state one, that it would be faster & not likely crash again. It only took a day or two.

Amazingly, they were able to recover ALL my lost documents off the failed drive! That was TERRIFIC! Then, when I got home & turned it on...Wow...the power up to start was about as instant as I have ever experienced (I used to have to wait a minute or two). IMO my MacBook Pro is now Better than a new one. I get the speed, the safety, the added longevity & STILL have a nice, physically sturdy, Laptop that doesn’t make me feel like the newer ones do...fragile as a potato chip!

And...to top it all off, the price was 1/2 what I was expecting. I couldn’t be happier! Those Apple “Genius Bar” people can kiss my You Know What!
