Let me tell you about Carniceria Azteca - the ultimate destination for all your meaty cravings! This place is a meat lover's paradise, and I'm pretty sure the smell of sizzling meat wafting through the air is what heaven must smell like.
Now, let's talk about the tacos. Oh my goodness, the tacos! They're like little bundles of joy wrapped in a soft tortilla. I don't know what kind of magic they put in their meat, but it's so delicious, it should be illegal. And the toppings? Don't even get me started. The onions and cilantro are so fresh, they must have been plucked straight from the garden. And the salsa? It's so good, I could drink it straight from the bottle.
But wait, there's more! Carniceria Azteca also serves up a mean bowl of pozole. It's like a warm hug in a bowl, and the perfect comfort food for when you need a pick-me-up. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the hominy adds the perfect amount of chewiness. And let's not forget about the meat - it's so tender, it practically melts in your mouth.
The best part about Carniceria Azteca, though, is the atmosphere. It's like a party in there! The music is always bumping, and the energy is infectious. I don't know how they do it, but even on a Tuesday afternoon, it feels like a fiesta.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for some seriously tasty tacos and pozole, head to Carniceria Azteca. And don't forget to bring your dancing shoes - you never know when a spontaneous dance party...
Read moreI would have given 1 star based on taste of food, but it does seems the staff works hard and they are very nice. I don't like giving reviews like this when I can tell the employees work hard, but the quality of the food paired with the price seriously sucked. We love authentic Mex food & decided to give this placed a try over Mi Tierra after reading all the great reviews, expecting to soon be in taco heaven. We ordered 2 tacos with rice & beans (apparently a plate isn't offered, everything is a la carte, raising the price higher than it should be) - tacos 1 Carne asada, 1 carnitas. Both were literally tire rubber. Cooked beyond flavor & recognition. I don't expect pink or anything, but it was like eating shoe leather. The carnitas, which I generally expect to be moist & full of flavor at any authentic carniciera, was so dry & dull. Tacos topped with onions & cilantro, no guacamole or limes offered or served with. Rice was mediocre, beans were dry & flavorless as well. Tasted like they were out of a can. Also ordered Carne asada nachos - nothing great. Same dry, leathery meat, cheese & maybe onions on top of low quality fries. Nothing extra, not even lettuce or cilantro. Tiny side of sour cream & quac was extra $, of course, and not nearly enough for two meals. Everything came to around $35. It was an absolute rip off. Such a bummer. We will not be going back & are excited to try Mi...
Read moreI was very excited about trying out the food here. The place is a very old trading post vibe to it. I tried the tacos enchiladas and was not impressed at all. I felt it was lacking in flavor. The tamale I tried was very good, though. So I believe you just have to figure out what's to your liking and what isn't. The regular tacos im sure are delicious because there were so many orders for it. The wait is a bit long due to most of the food bwing prepared fresh to order. The staff was pretty nice but the person serving us the food was not so nice to us. She was very nice and sweet to the customers ahead of us and asked them if they needed anything else if they needed extra salsa, but when it came to us she shoved our food on the counter and when I tried asking her for forks and napkins she just walked away. Who knows, maybe she had a long day. I will try it again but I would order...
