Sherwin-Williams Paint Store — Local services in Prescott Valley

I have been coming to this store for many years and have had the best customer service..... Until today. Jake the previous manager always made it a point to call me by my first name and went above and beyond. Today, I took in a cabinet door to have the paint matched. I was greeted kindly by an associate that tries to be helpful but just a few weeks ago told me they didn't match farrow and ball colors. So, I was already a little apprehensive. Long story short after 20 mins of her looking up my account and trying to look up previous paints I had purchased, instead of matching the cabinet door I brought in, The lady who I can only assume is the new manager was incredibly rude to me. She came and took the cabinet panel and stated " I will take care of this, We will call you when it is ready" 6 hours later I received a call that it was ready. Only to arrive to a quart size when I asked for a gallon. NEVER AGAIN. I will go to Prescott store where I had the same scenario and within 10 minutes the rep had me out the door. I only gave 2 stars because I was asked if I needed help quickly. I came here after hearing an add on the radio for 40% off paint. I was interested in just basic paint and when I arrived at the store I was informed that all the paint was on sale EXCEPT the basic version. The sale was just a sham to get people in the door and buy the expensive versions of their paint. You had a chance to make a life long customer but I’ll take my business to Lowes or Home depot. Just to clarify it was not the price of the paint (although 70-80 dollars a gallon is crazy high) it was your advertising tactics. If you advertise 40% off paint you should honor it or include that there are exclusions in the advertisement. Huge waste of time...

The best spent money I have EVER spent was to hire Suzanne Adams as a paint consultant. I recently purchased a 2600 square foot home with huge vaulted ceilings in Prescott. The entire interior needed paint and it was overwhelming to me. I found a great painter who referred me to Suzanne at Sherwin Williams. I didn't expect much to come out of it, but the price was very reasonable, and she was amazing! She worked with what I wanted and all of her suggestions and ideas were enhancements on what I wanted. The final result was so much better than I ever thought it could be. I have referred her to others who have had similar experiences. Again, the BEST spent money ever! I would hire her...
