We visited Tempus Escapes after reserving a time on Saturday evening a few weeks ago. We experienced several technical difficulties during the game, including damage to one area of the room, which made it so that we could not solve that part of the puzzle. When we talked to the owner, he said that a group of kids who visited 2 days ago were very rough, which caused some damage. This had not been resolved even though it happened two days ago. Also, the oxygen pump stopped working, which wasted 10 minutes of our limited time to escape. We had to call the owner again and ask for help. He was able to manually reset the oxygen levels and agreed to add 10 minutes back to the timer since it wasn't our fault. However, at the end of one hour, the door inside started to shut and a person in our group almost got stuck in the door. Turns out he was able to reset the physical timer to add 10 minutes to it but was unable to reset the timer for the controls in the room. So the room completely reset for the next group at the one-hour mark, and we were unable to complete the escape room through no fault of our own. We had to ask questions over the phone to understand the end of the escape room and were not offered any discounts/refunds due to...
Read moreThis escape room is everything other escape rooms are not. I’m an escape room enthusiast and have seen quite a few places in Utah and a few out of state. This escape room might be the most narratively driven escape room I’ve witnessed. You really feel like the story progresses along with you. It is extremely immersive with its own style and fun sense of humor. I really liked the added mini games that insert suspense and close the gap of a standstill in the chance you get stuck, making sure there is never a dull moment.
It is the highest-quality room I have been in. Most of the puzzles are very interactive and none of them are just ‘get a code for a lock on a box’. The puzzles are designed to make you feel clever and excited, never try to stump you to make you feel dumb or frustrated. They may feel easier to people looking to beat more challenging rooms (I am not insinuating that they are very easy), but it is clear the designers value fun over difficulty, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone. I would even add that for those people seeking puzzles with more resistance, the sheer fun of the puzzles will surely make up for it.
In the end, I believe this is the best escape room I have...
Read moreThe Escape Room Container was awesome. We’ve done a lot of escape rooms, and this was among the best. This high-tech experience had unique puzzles and challenges that kept us on our toes from start to finish.
The attention to detail in the decor and ambiance set the stage for an immersive adventure like no other. They even used AI to make fun of our team name. It was awesome.
It is probably best for ages 12+, but younger kids could be entertained.
Unlike traditional escape rooms that rely heavily on padlocks and keys, the puzzles here were innovative and diverse, challenging us to think outside the box at every turn. There were musical notes played on a giant gong, jelly bean dispensers, email puzzles on a computer, a robot arm to move objects, and even some video game asteroid blasting.
Overall, the Escape Room Container exceeded our expectations in every...
