My husband and I come here frequently to get stuff for ourselves on our land improvements. I'm taking a star simply because I felt like there was no customer service in the store, and what customer service I got was avoidance and then an attitude. My intentions was to buy something and because of the attitude I was just like forget it, especially after attempting to get someone from the back to come out and actually help me knowing I could hear them back there but the minute I put my head back there asking for help all things went silent. And then when someone approaches me and I say I'm looking for this... I'm told not to yell at them, and I wasn't even yelling, although I admit I was kind of raising my voice earlier to find someone, but when he approached, I did not yell at him. The funny thing was I was glad to finally have someone, and then I got the immediate attitude from him, and that turned me off quickly, considering I was struggling to find the item. I asked a cashier upon my entry for some assistance and as she was getting ready to help, another cashier turned and stated very rudely that they can't fill propane during a storm ( storm /stôrm/ noun a violent disturbance of the atmosphere ). I explained to her that it was only a light rain and she just got more agitated. I can't help but feel that it was not my money that was the issue but my appearance as a hispanic male that set the difference. Seeing as she was more then polite with the obvious Anglo customers of which she had in front of her. I can not confirm this as I just took the high road and left. Needless to say social media these days is a very powerful tool, and if this is he way she treats customers that she deems unfit to be there then I will make my voice heard. Read moreI signed up for Tractor Supply emails and got a 10% off coupon of any dog food but when I tried to use it, the barcode would not fully download in the store but it clearly said “use this 10%off coupon for in store or online purchase.” The cashier tried to enter the code on the coupon but she was not able to get it to work. She assured me her Manager would take care of it. She called AUSTIN, who said he was the Manager and he just smiled and said, “sorry, our store has been having troubles with coupons but he said he was unable to honor the coupon even though it was their mistake.” Clearly, the coupon was valid within the dates specified. They knew it was their fault but would not rectify it for the customer. I have never had that experience like that before. AUSTIN was clearly not trained well in customer service!!
