The food was fabulous, as it is at all of the Texas Roadhouses I've ever visited. Fresh, hot rolls, too hot to touch! The steak was cooked to perfection, the garden salads were crisp and chilled as they should be, and we truly enjoyed my dad's 79th birthday dinner. As a restaurateur myself, I want to brag about the service we received. I so wish I could recall his name, he was fabulous. He was in a great mood, which certainly can set the atmosphere for the duration of the meal, and he paid attention to every detail regarding our special food requests. He was excellent at upselling product, especially blue cheese crumbles, appetizers, and asking if we wished to have our steaks 'smothered'. He was quick to refill our drinks before we ran dry, quick to remove our empty dishes, and just right-down courteous. I was so impressed that I gave him a 35% tip. This server seemed to truly enjoy what he was doing and it showed. He even took the time to explain to me how their 'tip pooling' works and the policy on allowing dogs inside of the restaurant. I have eaten at an unbelievable number of restaurants in my life, and I will have to place this one in my Top 10 for both service and food perfection. I would have taken more photos but I could not wait to carve into my steak.

Our visit to the Pueblo, CO, Texas Roadhouse was our first visit to a Texas Roadhouse ever! Judging by the quality of the food and service, it probably won't be our last. My husband and I visited with my Dad and stepmom. Brooklyn was our server and she was very friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic. My NY Strip steak was cooked just to my liking and the sautéed mushrooms were delish! I particularly liked that they included a baked sweet potato in the selection of sides. The "fresh" vegetables looked to have been frozen, but that was a minor inconvenience. My husband loved his prime rib, and my Dad ordered an entrée called -- hand to God -- "Roadkill" which he also liked, though I'm not quite sure what was in it. The biggest downside to the experience was the fact that the place was SO freakin' busy, even at 3:00 PM on a weekday. Also, my folks are in their 70's-80's and can only walk short distances; this place could do with a few more handicapped parking spaces, but with a little creativity, we were able to work around that. If given the opportunity to patronize this place again, we'd happily do so.

We have been to this location several times. The food is always cooked to perfection and the service has been tops! This last time the wait time was over an hour, but our waitress Loretta had our appetizer, the awesome Cactus Blossom, on the table in five minutes, then my date’s salad and my chili shortly after. Our main course was the Texas combo of a filet and ribs. The filets were amazing! So tender and lightly seasoned. Didn’t need any steak sauce for sure. The ribs were a bit over cooked, black on the ends, and dry but still very flavorful. I have ribs every time we go and this was unusual for them to be like this. Usually moist and fall off the bone. Love the decor, jackalopes and other critters on the wall, cactus, fun signs and pictures and it’s cool how you can see them grilling the steaks when you come in. Our meal was the two filets and ribs combos that come with two sides plus we had an appetizer and I had iced tea. We also got the military discount so our bill came to just under $80 plus the tip.

My boyfriend and I decided to go to this location on Saturday, August 4th. We had driven down from Colorado Springs to go to the drive-in, as this was a very belated birthday celebration for him. The host was super sweet and had a big smile when she was helping customers. Our server, I believe her name was Jade, was so kind. We ordered and we were somewhat anxious we wouldn’t make it to the movie on time due to us leaving late, so when our entrees came out 40 minutes in to us being there we were a little concerned. We understood that us leaving late was an oversight on our part and we wanted to make sure our server knew we were not upset at her or any of the kitchen staff. We weren’t upset at all, but she spoke to her manager (without us even asking) and the manager took our appetizer off of our ticket. Our server was so sweet, and she apologized multiple times for how long the food took. I apologized in case I had seemed upset, because I understand how restaurants can be as a service worker myself. She genuinely cared about our dining experience and even gave us extra plastic ware so we could finish our meal at our movie. She was very apologetic about how long our entrees took, despite the fact that we weren’t upset at all. We just took our food to go with us and made sure she knew her efforts were appreciated and that we weren’t angry or disappointed at all. We still made it to our movie and enjoyed our food, as well as the amazing customer service we received. Overall it was a great experience and I will be visiting this location any time...

Let me start this review my saying Texas Roadhouse is one of my FAVORITE restaurants. I just love the atmosphere and food and USUALLY the service, however the other night me and my husband were left with a rather sour impression. We were greeted by the host who was kind and seated us pretty quickly as it was a weekday and later than the dinner rush. The actual problems didnt start until our server micah “greeted” us. First thing I want to note is there infamous rolls are one of the best parts of the experience but that day the rolls we were given were dry, not buttered and cold. My husband was preparing to kindly ask that new, fresh rolls were brought to our table but could barley get a word in between the server speaking over us and practically running away as soon as we told him what we would like to drink. When we were able to flag him down we were told there was no way that he could ensure that the rolls were fresh but he would grab us another basket. The basket he brought was just the same. But you know… its free so we werent about to complain. There were just multiple more instances of him not listening, rolling his eyes not checking in and making it seem like we were inconveniencing him… The blooming onion arrived in a bath of oil making it soggy. but the one saving grace was that the burger and steak were cooked correctly and tasted good. However Ive never had such awful service from this franchise. Just confused about why were treated so poorly and had to basically flag him down everytime we...

This review is from March 29, 2024. Went on a hustling and bustling Friday night. Easy to check-in with "call ahead seating" online. Once we arrived, checked in online and then shortly after got the text to come in to be seated. Even though we had to stand and wait in the congested entrance for an additional 15 min, it still warranted with how busy it was. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Our server was Faith! An absolutely attentive server with phenomenal service! She made sure we were taken care of, always checked in on us, and was happy to oblige anything we needed. She's a true gem, and a fantastic asset to the restaurant. My hubby and I both got the ribeyes. I got the 14oz and he got the bone in. Let me tell ya, if you can choose some add ons, go for the mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños! The steaks were so tender, it felt like my knife was cutting into butter. The salads were so dang good. Idk if I was just hungry or they just hit the spot, but they were delicious and FRESH! Overall it was a great experience. Very impressed. Definitely made it worth it to take the time and write a review.

Other odd noticeable things: thank you for having real salt and pepper shakers!!! Not the plastic twist kind. It was much appreciated. Thank you for NOT over seasoning your steaks! Glad we decided to NOT go to our local Colorado Springs Texas Roadhouse and drive the...
