Wish there was a rating lower than one star because that’s what I give this restaurant. This particular IHOP used to be my favorite place to eat, often stopping in two or three times a week. However, in the past few months since they remodeled and had a management change it has changed so drastically. I gave it way too many chances and left unsatisfied every time. The new manager Becky is the most vile woman, often belittling and disrespecting her staff in front of guests. Not to mention that she always reeks of cigarettes which quickly destroys my appetite. The staff seem miserable and depressed. The last straw for me was my last visit. Myself and a few of my friends went in the day after Christmas to have breakfast. We waited almost 10 minutes to be seated because they were on a wait which was confusing because half the restaurant was empty. Once we were greeted by our server she informed us that they were out of quite a few menu items. This was an incredible understatement!!!! We couldn’t get coffee because they were out of creamer and milk. We couldn’t order breakfast because they were out of EGGS and BACON! We couldn’t get sandwiches because they didn’t have buns for the sandwiches. So, despite the slim selection of menu items they actually had we decided to order pancakes and crepes. After we ordered and we had already been waiting upwards of ten minutes on our food...our poor waitress returned with tears in her eyes and informed us that they were out of crepes also and couldn’t serve us what we ordered. She seemed so embarrassed and ready to throw in the towel. Becky never came to our table to apologize. She took 30% off our bill and gave it to our server to give to us. She showed complete disregard and took zero responsibility for the epic failure. She never talked to any table for the duration of our visit but could be heard yelling in the kitchen and barking orders at her staff. I’m in utter disbelief at the atrocity this place and the management has become. Myself, my family and my friends will NEVER return to this establishment until the poor management...
Read moreHad a late dinner last night with my girlfriend. The server not once asked to refill our drinks, so we never got refills. She dropped off our food, said she would be back right back with all the condiments we needed to begin our meal but went to 2 other tables before coming back with the syrup for my waffle which was already getting cold. After she dropped off the condiments, I asked if I could get butter for my waffle since it didn't come with the condiments I assumed she was already bringing. Isnt it customary for waffles or pancakes to be served with butter. By the time I got my butter, the waffles were cold and didn't melt the butter. Heres the bigger problem, when I asked for the butter she didn't say a word, rolled her eyes and walked off. I'm sorry but if a customer asks for something that you would assume comes with their meal and you now have to make 2 trips back to the table because you lacked the skills to keep note of what you need to bring to the table, you simply just apologize and just come back with it and try not to make the customer wait any longer than they already have. Its not the customers fault that you failed to realize that they might need syrup and butter brought to their table with their food, especially if they order waffles, and its even better that you brought those things to the table before the customers food gets cold. Its called prioritizing while multi tasking. Most good servers recognize this skill. Im sorry Davina or whatever your name is but you better find another career option if you think its ok to roll your eyes at your customers. Your lucky you got the 10 percent tip that we left you cause my girlfriend said we should have left you nothing! And believe me, I never leave less than 25 percent!! (that...
Read moreSo despite the fact that they were the ONLY place open after midnight that was sit down food, they were amazing. The waitress was lovely, very attentive and polite. She was consistent and available and a really good hospitable server who did her job well and was plenty friendly. The only other food options were fast food so it was delightful to have another option and I commend them for their late night open hours, especially since they are one of few. The food was good, the service was really quick. Despite being one of the only available options, post pandemic peak it still was relatively a smaller crowd, a few customers only which was nice. No hustle and bustle but still a few other faces which made for a nice more relaxed atmosphere. Because of this the seating was instant, as the drinks and taking our order. Food was good and served quick, absolutely as asked for. She, the waitress, was friendly and welcoming and chatted a bit when asked about the fact they were the only place open. She was duitfulvand very attentive without being overbearing so it was all together a very good experience with good food and for a reasonable price especially considering the price increase. Tipped a bit over the 8oercent, woulda tipped more but with the amount of the total at 8percentnvrought ti right about 45 so left it at that but highly recommend the place, it was clean and comfortable, the servers excellent, the cook did well, the lack of crowds was great and the food was good. I got chicken and waffles for the first time ever and was very pleased. The other got a nice combination breakfast with one substitution and it was served exactly as we had ordered. So def recommend. Shout out for...
