Bought a king size Temper Pedic, my husbands health started going bad after. Told them we needed to move our bedroom at the time so he would be closer and easier to the bathroom. He was unable to help with anything and most things I couldn’t do alone. Long story short he passed away in December of 2024. I completely forgot about the purchase and didn’t realize until started going through things. Called in help and went ahead and moved bedroom, remembered we had bought a new mattress and paid for it last October, before he passed.i called to see if they could deliver it, we’re able to deliver quickly. I wasn’t aware that we bought a “set” they said and when they delivered it was over 3’ tall. I’m 65, said there was no way I could get in that, I knew TemperPedic made a low profile box. ( this was out third set)from them. They told me there would be an “up charge” for going to a low profile? Wasn’t doing me any good the way it was so I said fine. They came the next day with low profile and it looked much better. Sad part was it was still way too high with our new bed, that’s a platform. Never had one of those. So, I asked them to come get these and I would try it with just the mattress. They would not refund the money of 108.00 I paid by credit card even though it was never slept on. The agreed to come get it but I noticed the paper I signed when delivered said so refunds. They also told me they wouldn’t couldn’t. We were willing to apply our refund towards the larger sale of a product that we wanted to upgrade to but were treated VERY rudely by the lady whom had helped us. I was very shocked and appauled at her behavior since this store is locally owned which is the main reason we chose to visit this store to keep small businesses alive and well. We were kindly given a store gift certificate by a kind young girl at the check out. Thankful for her kindness.
