Was very hot the one day I went, but you can handle it if you're smart with shade and staying hydrated. Amazing amount of artists and different things brought to the table. There were a few food trucks and a few beer/wine tents. Everyone that come can find something unique for there collection. There is also a dedicated kids area with entertainment and interactive art. One of Raleigh's best downtown FREE events! Artsplosure celebrates 35 years of bringing art and people together. An event that you won't want to miss! There's creative people to talk with about pottery, jewelry photography and more. Take home a treasure! Plenty of food to enjoy and music to get you moving. With over 170 visual arts and crafts exhibitors from all over this event draws over 80,000 people to downtown.

First Night 2018 was frigid, but the cold was part of the fun! Entertainment and venues were awesome and warm. It was well worth braving the cold to share New Year's Eve with fellow hardy souls to see the incredible fireworks which capped off the celebration.
