My order was not ready in the time indicated online which was no big deal. Upon arrival, the sales clerk Karen confirmed my order wasnāt ready, so I gathered the ornaments I had purchased online (which Iāve done before at other locations) and brought them to the register. She refused to allow me to fill my own order and insisted they had back stock they pulled from for online orders. She said Iād have to return the online order and repurchase the ones in-hand. When I told her that was fine she asked me to wait and she went to the back to speak with the assistant manager who was filling orders. When she came back she said theyād start working on filling my order, and told me if Iād go do some other shopping and come back, itād be ready. I said sure, and walked through a few other stores to pass the time. When I returned after receiving a notification, an ornament was missing and another (that happened to be the exact same price) was included instead. Luckily, I didnāt just take the sack and leave, I actually stood and checked the order. I mentioned to Karen that it was interesting that the ornament which I hadnāt been able to find on the floor had also not been available in their back stock. ( I later found out from Debbyās that there is no back stock) Karen also insisted that the ornament that had not been available would be picked up by another store and they would call me. I decided to call Debbyās off Brier Creek and put the ornament on hold there. When I got there I explained that Daphneās hadnāt allowed me to gather my own order and the sales clerk said they let people do it at this location all the time. She also said there is no back stock at either store and when an ornament is not a available it is cancelled and the customer is not charged for it. Basically, everything Karen said was wrong. I donāt why I was made to put back the ornaments I had gathered and then made to wait only to receive an incorrect ornament and incorrect information. One of the worst experiences Iāve ever had at a Hallmark and Iāve been purchasing our family Christmas ornaments at Hallmark stores all over the states for decades. Hopefully Daphneās can get it sorted out but I will definitely make the further drive to Debbyās...

I always find the store well-stocked and organized, the employees are super friendly and helpful and I find they go out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. Iām a school counselor and was looking for graduation cards during January for our Midyear graduation. Graduation cards are generally not out in January, but one of the employees took the time to look in the back and found some. :) This is just one example of their willingness to go above and beyond. Unlike many of the other Hallmarks in the area, they do not put sensor stickers in the boxes which I really appreciate. The sensor stickers end up peeling up, sticking to tissue, etc. This location is inside a mall, but easy to get to. 5 stars for Daphneās Hallmark...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this store yesterday to find a card for my husband's birthday. I was super excited to come here because I didn't know they had a hallmark in the mall. I gave a 1 star because my excitement quickly turned unpleasant. An employee followed me around the store the entire time i felt like he was hovering over me. I wanted to hand him my bag and say " here sir hold my bag while I look please since you think I'm trying to steal" it made me very uncomfortable that is not a good feeling you want to have while shopping. I hope this does not happen to anyone else and the employee can recieve customer...
