Beware- there is a $20 fee they don’t tell you about if you don’t return your rental within 24 hours. My son’s event was 4/13 at 7pm and we went to return his suit 4/15 at 7pm and to my surprise, we were charged $20 for being over 1 day late.
And that’s not all- at this particular location, the manager acted in the most unprofessional way I have ever seen a manager act in my entire life. It was actually very embarrassing for her, her staff, and the entire Men’s Wearhouse company.
When I was told by an employee that I owed $20 for not returning the rental on 4/14 (which is a Sunday with limited hours), as I was getting out my card, I said, “ok I’ll pay, but I was not aware of this fee. Where is this written? It’s not in any emails or texts that I received and no one told us.” She said they tell customers verbally and that it’s printed on the warehouse receipt beside the barcode and order numbers (a paper that is on the rental zip up thing and looks like gibberish to anyone who doesn’t work there). But it doesn’t show that there is any fee for it being returned after the date, it only has a return date.
So as I was asking about this, the manager came over and when I told her I had no idea that there was a fee, she got super defensive and loud and it was like she WANTED to make a scene. It was wild and again, it surprised me. She told ME to not yell at her when she was the one who raised her voice at me. She said they TELL customers about the fee. I don’t know how they guarantee this is told to every customer and neither woman would ever SHOW me where this is in writing about a late fee.
The manager was so busy trying to make it look like I was being difficult that she wouldn’t let me pay when I kept saying, “my card is right here, let me pay.” And she’d say loudly: “yes you are going to pay and you’re not going to talk to me like that in my store.” Okay….. LET ME PAY SO I CAN LEAVE! It was the weirdest thing. I was literally holding my card at the thing to tap it and she was trying to prove to everyone in there that I was in the wrong.
And then when I left, I told her “verbally is not okay” and she yelled at me as I was walking away to “leave her store and never come back”
I was already walking out, literally at the door, and she’s yelling this at me at her place of work as a manager of a store when she can’t even control her own self.
BRIAN is the one who rang us up when we got the suit and he was there helping someone in the back. I wish so bad I had gotten him up there to ask about why he didn’t tell me about the $20 late fee when we got the suit. I would’ve loved to have that convo, but honestly I was trying to get the heck out of there because that manager’s behavior was so unpredictable, I can’t imagine how that store functions. Bless her...
Read moreIf my wedding wasn’t in less than 30 days I would take my business elsewhere and cancel my order with the Triangle Town Center store in Raleigh, NC. To say that I’ve had a poor customer experience is an understatement. For starters the Vera Wang tuxedo that I had originally ordered a few months ago was discontinued without any notification from the store.
To add insult to injury while visiting the store on 4 September 2022 a young lady (Kameron) who identified herself as the manager literally cursed at me in the presence of my son and other customers.
One thing that Kameron is not going to do is disrespect me while collecting my hard earned money, and use inappropriate language in front of my son. I don’t know what public housing you found this ignorant employee, but Kameron needs to be returned back to the ghetto where this type of barbaric behavior is prevalent.
After reading Kameron’s name online in other complaints, I’m trying to comprehend how is she still employed in a critical leadership capacity with a company that is known for customer satisfaction?
As a business owner I know that it takes years to win a client and only seconds to lose one. Customers equal money. Losing the former leads to losing the latter as well. It says a lot about a store that hires an impudent associate such as Kameron and keeps her on staff to verbally insult paying customers.
I was so livid by Kameron’s rancorous outburst that I called the corporate hotline while in the parking lot, and the 50% discount that my groomsmen will receive does not accommodate for the utter disrespect that I experienced with Kameron.
Kameron exhibits every negative characteristic, connotation, and racist stereotype(s) that African-Americans have tried to dispel for centuries in white spaces.
If I had to choose one all encompassing word to describe Kameron it would be “embarrassment” because her nasty attitude and use of profanity was an embarrassment.
As a proud black man I found Kameron’s antics to be embarrassing. I’m embarrassed for her family whom I’m certain taught her the golden rule to treat others with respect an. I’m embarrassed for the Men’s Warehouse who has lost unknown profits and customers because of Kameron.
Kameron needs to be TERMINATED, because no customer should ever experience the emotional distress that I experienced inside of the Triangle Town Center store.
Due to Kameron’s appalling actions I will NEVER purchase an item from Men’s Warehouse. You guys have lost my business indefinitely. I’m certainly going to inform my friends and relatives of the aforementioned and warn them to stay away...
Read moreWe chose Men's Warehouse to handle our custom suits for our wedding since members of the wedding party were located in Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio. I spent numerous hours at the North Carolina location guaranteeing each member of the wedding party had a detailed description of requests. For example, we put $100 gift card to everyone's account to be applied towards the end balance and special linings picked out by my fiancé and I.
HOWEVER, the best man was suppose to have a flag lining in the inside of his suit due to being deployed with my fiancé. That was the one special request we had made and wanted to guarantee could be accomplished. It was a surprise to the best man and covered monetary wise by us.
The best man went to pick up the suit and the lining was incorrect. The lining inside was a silver paisley and not a flag lining. Our wedding is 09/18/2021 with limited time to spare to correct the problem. For over the last week, I am trying to rectify this situation before anyone else at Men's Warehouse is trying to fix the problem. The money was returned to the groomsmen, but it has nothing to do with the money. I would pay double; in order for the problem to be corrected due to the sentimental value.
I have been trying to have a lining sent to me in North Carolina and have his suit jacket shipped to me and have the lining replaced by a tailor. At my own cost, I have the burden to rectify this.
Right now, I called the Ohio Men's Warehouse to retrieve the order number for the best man and explained why I needed it. The lady put me on hold to ask Nick regarding my questions. She got back on the phone to tell me that Nick said a lining would not be shipped. Well Nick, I'm not working at your store level anymore since the order was messed up originating from your store. I don't care to know what Nick's thoughts are regarding my situation because I will die trying to fix this for the veterans in our wedding party. Unfortunately, this has escalated to a corporate level to have a resolution, if at all.
I am giving this Men's Warehouse one star due to the lady who answered the phone offered her complete sincerest to me and genuinely acted like she cared. Hopefully, that store has more employees like her.
As of 09/01, I have no lining still or a...
