If I could give the Darthmouth Apartments negative stars, I would. From the moment we moved in I knew this place was not going to live up to its "Luxury" title and price. To start, this place is always a mess, from the dumpsters that block the main doors for residents to get into their apartments, to them overflowing into the parking garage. The elevators are small, slow and ALWAYS dirty. The carpets, although they claim they clean them, look as if they haven't been cleaned since they were placed. The complex is very loud from people running and yelling through the hallways at all hours to people screaming in the pool deck - and if you complain to management they tell you to call the police and take photos of them instead of handling it themselves. Besides all of that I wouldn't rent here simply due to the management, especially Melanie - she clearly hates her job and everyone that lives there, if for some reason you do decide to live here only work with Stacey, she's the only one who knows what's going on. Melanie is rude, to everyone, always. I also highly encourage you to double check every single document they give to you - they purposely did something opposite of what I requested on my lease and then blamed me - or rather Melanie. Melanie will also send out invoices with zero explanation of them, do the math wrong and then consistently make you check her work. She will try to upcharge you - WATCH OUT FOR IT. This place is NOT WORTH IT! Even if it was the cheapest place to live, it's still not worth it. There are so many better places to live in North Hills at a clean complex with friendly people running it who genuinely care about their tenants. Absolutely horrific experience with the Darthmouth. Even if you try to bring it up with the company who owns it, Fogelman, they laugh at bad reviews and DO NOT take them seriously. Go back and review all the bad reviews, nothing has changed, they do not care about any of their tenants, RUN AWAY from this place! OVERPRICED and you'll be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's been a year since I've moved and here I am extending for an additional year! It's been a great experience thus far and a convenient location with tons of things to do around. I have a one bedroom that over looks the street with a cute little balcony. Apartment has beautiful wood floors, everything is new in terms of electronic devices, beautifully lit, and great windows to bring in the light.Throughout the first year there has a been a transition in the management, a new staff was brought in and that was a moment of "Um, what just happened? :|" I've got to admit though Amanda and Jenn at the leasing take customer service to the next level! their friendly approach and attentiveness is striking, I drop by the leasing office often for packages or requests, they are always super nice and rush to help with anything. Looking forward to a great new year at the Dartmouth and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreResident of two years! Recent decisions by management have turned this place from the best apartment I've lived into a place I would only recommend to those looking for a quieter lifestyle.
First the positives: Nice apartments, and dog park right next door, and they go the pool open in time for the 90 degree weather.
Now the negatives: They now fine for the following and more! -Driving wrong way in parking deck. -Using the fire pit/grill after 10pm.
They also suggest that residents should call the police on other residents for noise disturbances. I have lived in all sorts of apartments, and NEVER have I seen management do this.
In short, don't live here if you are one of the following: YoPro, a person who makes noise, someone who likes to enjoy fire pits after 10pm, or an individual who take shortcuts in parking lots. Do live here if you like to have a quiet and...
