I have used the salon services for cut, color, full highlights. I worked with Kate, my stylist and the first time I went to her she did an unbelievable job. I loved my cut, color and highlights. I requested to make sure the color she used did not have any red undertones. I was delighted with the outcome. 7 months later I requested same outcome. She guaranteed me she wrote everything down including the positioning of the foils. This time I was completely disgusted. I was there almost 5 hours. My base had a red tone to it. My full highlights were gone. I had a few pieces of very blond highlights uneven. I was shocked in horror. I went back and requested a refund I was very upset. Since it was a Sunday I had to wait for the salon manager to discuss with the store manager the refund. The salon manager said if it was up to her she would refund my money because this mess cost me close to $400 with tip. When the store manager called me a few days later he wanted me to have my hair redone. He seemed surprised the salon manager would have refunded my money if she had the authority, My husband was with me and heard the entire conversation. Kate was informed of what was going on and she should have called me to discuss my hair but she did not. I reluctantly agreed to have someone redo my hair because I was given a hard time for a refund - what a MISTAKE. I had my hair redone by someone else and when I left I told them I loved it but actually I hated the outcome. After another 4 hours I just wanted to leave. Now my hair was all blond on top and dark underneath. I went to 2 different salons after for consultation, Both salon owners were shocked when I showed them the before and after pictures and they saw what I currently looked like. The first picture I showed them they couldnât believe that is what I originally started with because of the aftermath. They both said my hair looks nothing like the picture. It is hard to believe that was really me. Now I have been living with this until it is time for my root touch up because I have had too much done to my hair in a short period of time and I will now have to have some low lights so I donât look so washed out. STORE: Disarray, on 11/18 at 10:02am - didn't get to me but it's not the old Ramsey Store.
RETURN: I came with a return that I discussed last night, after a 10am-1:45pm time frame of ME calling the number being handed off by Alicia, some manager, with missing info listed so I could provide proof of purchase, which is fair - the item didn't scan, I don't know what that means but ok.
Once given the list, I let manager know that I had just provided her with the text message from Ulta filling in 5 out of 7 blanks I was then told that she needed either the date or register number... So, I went back through the process and the date is March (which I had already given to Alicia). Customer relations said we cannot view register number but they should be able to pull this right up. (Store cannot go past 3 mths, per 3 other location managers) but I wasn't concerned as all info requested was given.
THEN, I was told that she, Alicia, would need to speak to her other manager and once they discussed it she would let me know. 44 MINUTES later...
She says, "Hi what's up?" I said what do you mean I've been waiting for you as you asked me to. She said no we can't take it back, but you don't have PROOF OF PURCHASE and that's what's required - I gave her EXACTLY what she listed & now, you're telling me I didn't? DESPITE my being handed that number she even saw my call log, I almost cannot BELIEVE in hindsight ALICIA HAD AN EMPLOYEE CHECK MY CALL LOG (And i LET her!?) .... good thing I forgot until now.
The Ulta corporate office is getting a FORMAL complaint and I will include the text proof and an email ULTA customer service has just sent to further this PROOF OF PURCHASE she said I never gave her including 2 ladies that jotted a note so kindly for me after hearing just our chat (I can't bother to make it up).
Here is the kicker: The store I got it in just got right back to me & said bring it right over, what you sent me IS proof of purchase.

I am sorry to write this but i couldn't stop myself reviewing this. Don't go ulta salon for any kind of hair treatment. They don't know anything. If you go to a local salon you can get better treatment than them. They can only colour grey hairs. Dont waste your money here. After spending 8 hours( yes total 8 hours for hair cut and hair colour)I was not happy at all. Even their master has her own definition of hair colour which is according to them is right and the rest of the world and google is all wrong.Manager and few more people's are very nice they try their best to make you happy and satisfied but their stylist dont know anything. Dona was a very very nice lady work there. She is not stylist but she is very caring.
