This university has been one of the worst experiences ever! As a recent graduate, I finally can give my honest opinion without having any backlash. The nursing program itself is fine. The workload is a lot, but for the most part, manageable. Some professors and dean of this campus are absolutely horrible, without integrity, sleezy and downright ignorant. They set expectations for students yet don't even come close to having the same expectations for themselves. Students are required to be on time, yet we waited for professors for over 30 min to show up and get ready for their classes. Professors lock the doors on students and won't open them, pretending not to hear students knocking even if they were on time. The sim lab professors were some of the worst faculty there. Students who are grown adults get treated like children. The professors have God complex, never admit that they are wrong and students suffer when professors lack basic knowledge and professionalism. The school will push students to fail not for academics but for having your socks the wrong color, wrong length, or simply having your hair touching your shoulder. Students are to be expected to adhere to a real life work standards, "in their terms" you can't get sick, your children can't fall ill, and if you got into an car accident then you should still be expected for show up not a minute late. The focus of this program was less on nursing and more on rule enforcement. Many more things can be said, like the unfair clinical site placement and many other things. Overall, I do not recommend this nursing program if you were thinking about enrolling. Exhaust all your other options first, but if you want to be disappointed with your nursing experience and lose your desire to be a nurse, then this is the right...

I applied to chamberlain university college of nursing in Sacramento campus around August for their BSN program starting January 2023. During that time ALEXIS OSBORNE was my advisor. After submitting all my application I never heard from her, anytime I tried to reach her, it’ll say leave a voice mail. They keep telling me my application will be reviewed by the committee review next week, and It’s been 2 months of hearing this same news. Every week I call them to find out where I stand with them is another NEXT WEEK news. This is very unprofessional and frustrating. I am extremely disappointed with my admissions representative Alexis Osborne. I have been constantly emailing and leaving voice mails and would never hear back in regards to my application status. I completed everything on the deadlines given. I was never able to communicate or hear back from my admissions counselor. Until two weeks after deadline. My call was finally answered the second week of October. She had told me that she was barely putting everything together and sending it out that week and that everything would be fine. I continue to call and email to see if she had done that and if all I should be waiting for is for the admissions committee to review my application, I still don’t get a response. Today I call and was finally answered and she let me know that now my application will be on hold. This is completely unfair. I would like to bring this matter to your attention as well as to someone higher up. The campus President. Online there is still an option for the Sacramento Campus January 2023. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSTITUTION. Especially the campuses in Sacramento and LA. I applied to chamberlain university college of nursing in Sacramento campus around June for their BSN program, during that time SAMANTHA SOLIS was my advisor. After submitting all my application I never heard from her, anytime I tried to reach her, it’ll say leave a voice mail. Due to this I requested to move my application to the Irwindale campus in LA. There, SHERRI DOWER was my advisor. First off they mistaken my files with someone else, mistaken my Hesi exam with someone else and all my files seemed to be disorganized. My Science gpa is around 3.6 and my general education gpa is 3.4, and I had a 89 on my Hesi A2 exam and it’s still not enough for this school. They keep telling me my application will be reviewed by the committee review next week, and It’s been 2 months of hearing this same news. Every week I call them to find out where I stand with them is another NEXT WEEK news. This is very unprofessional and frustrating as I really had high hopes for this school.
