I want to start off by saying that I love all the items that I find here. I'm able to find trending items to Unique pieces for my home and that's why I have continued to come here. However this is not the third time that I've dealt with a very rude or unhappy employee. I'm not sure what it is exactly that's going on with this location, but I've gone to many HomeGoods before and this store would definitely have the most unhappiest of employees.
To Anthony and mark, you have a blonde manager associate clearly does not want to be there. She's bothered every time one of her staff request her assistance and was very confrontational during my return.
I had purchased an item on the 2nd of October for a gift. I asked for a gift receipt. Some of the items are part of this purchase were a photo frame and it "take a number" gag gift. When a newer associate bagged my items she had only wrapped the delicate photo frame with one sheet of paper so it cracked in the bag and unfortunately the gag gift was empty.
When I come today to return the photo frame and gag gift, I was helped by T, a beautiful and hardworking associate( as she was handling a big line by herself). Tea hot informed me that she would have to get her manager AKA Blondie to approve the return. Blondie was not happy to be called up for help and then began to look at the items I was returning. When she held up the cracked photo frame she made the comment to her associate, "we would never sell it like this" and in return I had told her that wasn't the case.. I told her that the former associate originally bagged the photo frame she had only used one sheet of paper and discreetly mentioned "which I didn't think was so smart". She then aggressively responded and laughed,"wow that's so rude!" And assumed I wanted cash. My purchase was over $200 even with my return. I didn't even need the cash and she didn't even bother to ask. T had to apologize on her behalf for her comment and I told her it was okay and she happily took care of me and was sure to double wrap my glass items.
Blondie,
The comment wasn't a personal attack on you or on any of your employees. It was meant light-heartedly. I didn't come in demanding anything, I just wanted an exchange for my items. If you're overworked and underpaid just say that. I really do...

Read moreBuyer beware!! Store mngr Anthony Vaca is a terrible employee. I had been here 2 days ago shopped quite a bit and reserved a piece of furniture. I was told I could come back within 3 days to buy it they'd have it on hold. Well upon walking in today and going straight to the furniture to get the info from the tag I saw 2 employees approaching it too, I jokingly said oh what are you guys doing holding my item they looked at me confused and said oh no we just sold it to someone else I was equally confused but I showed them the pictures I had taken of it 2 days prior and that I had reserved it 1st. The people interested had not paid yet either so we were both on the same boat, except I had reserved it 2 days prior. Well the nice lady Lisa offered to get the Mgr to sort it out he came out with an attitude acting all defensive as if anyone was complaining about anything we were all just trying to figure how to sort it out. He said unfortunately it's gonna have to go to them even though I had reserved it 2 days prior all bc I couldn't remember the cashier's name who had helped me before. I had pictures of the furniture and proved I was there 2 days prior since I also purchased about 300 dollars worth of other items. But he totally ignored that fact and proceeded to continue to be rude about it. The nice lady helping me out felt so bad for me she knew the rude Mgr made the wrong call bc technically no one had paid for it yet so it was a no brainer to allow me to pay for it since I had reserved it 1st. Also if you shop for anything here make sure to keep the receipt apparently this store hasn't caught up with the times of technology so without a receipt they will only give you...
