We had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant, and that’s saying something because we go out often, including to other locations of this same restaurant group.
It started off with a hostess measuring our kids, and then being helped by a friendly female server. She was polite, professional, and got us settled without any issues. My two-year-old son was measured under the height limit and was free, exactly as expected.
Then our server changed to a guy named Jason, and things went downhill fast. In the middle of our meal, he asked to double-check my brother’s NFT even though we had already done it earlier. Later, after we ordered dessert, he came by again to ask if we wanted anything else for “last call.” We said no because dessert was already on the way, but then he dropped off the check without us asking. While we were eating our dessert, he interrupted us again saying he needed to close out the check.
When my brother-in-law, whose birthday it was, looked at the bill, he saw that my two-year-old son was marked as an adult. He pointed it out to Jason, who left and came back two minutes later saying my son would now be “half price.” We explained that the hostess had already measured our children when we arrived, and my son was under the height limit. Jason said we needed to measure him again. We told him that we already had, and he walked away without saying anything.
At that point we were frustrated, but the original kind server came back and listened to what had happened. She was understanding, and we were finally starting to calm down.
Then Manager Jackson came over and insisted that we measure my son again. We complied, measured him right there, and sure enough, he was under the height limit exactly as we had said from the start. Jackson was not apologetic or understanding. He was dismissive, argumentative, and seemed more focused on proving a point than resolving the situation.
His tone and lack of empathy made the entire experience worse. He didn’t listen, didn’t validate anything we said, and showed no customer service awareness at all.
By then, everyone at the table, including my toddler, was upset. What should have been a relaxing family birthday dinner turned into one of the most frustrating experiences we’ve ever had. Jackson never apologized or showed even a hint of empathy.
And it somehow got worse. Later that night, my brother-in-law checked the bill and found out they never even removed the charge. They still charged my two-year-old half price after all that. He had to call and speak to a manager at another location to explain everything and get it fixed.
Just galling. I have never experienced that level of poor service or total lack of care from both a server and a manager. Everyone in that restaurant, except for the first friendly server, needs serious customer service training.
If you’re planning a family celebration or want a pleasant night out, I’d strongly recommend going to another location or honestly,...
Read moreWe were excited to try the restaurant and ultimately left underwhelmed, and I hope things improve as time goes by.
Non-alcoholic drink selection was very limited with only 2 options. We were told we had 90 minutes with final call is at 70 minites and worst of all, there was a timer counting us down, which made the entire dinner feel rushed. The staff provided the hot foods for my first round, but "a glitch" occurred and we didn't receive any cold meats. By the time I was able to order the 2nd round and had the meats arrive, we were 21 minutes into our timer and because the grill had been on for so long, the first meats all stuck to the grill and got burned. By round 3 we finally started eating what we came for.
Sauces are... Okay. There is no sambal, sirracha or chiles and the only spicy sauce was a sweet and hot sauce that was too sweet for our liking. Kimbap is good, ramen tasted like an afterthought plate. Takoyaki had a wasabi sauce instead of a Takoyaki sauce. Very limited side orders, mostly carbs to fill you up. The dumplings were interesting and I liked the lobster dumplings. Meats are thin as expected with some having some sauces that tend to burn on the grill.
Midway through our dinner the server came by to explain that she had misquoted the dinner prices and heavily pushed the membership prices. We were asked if we wanted to join their club more often than preferred. The iPad also died before I could enter the 4th round and by the time I got the next round ordered we were 50 minutes into the evening. At 66 minutes we were told it was last call even though our timer on the tablet said differently. I rushed the last order, we finished our food
Ordering is restricted to 8 items every 8 minutes. The technical issues this really hampered the experience. Not child friendly especially if you have picky eaters as they strictly enforce the child...
Read moreIf you’ve ever wanted to experience what it's like to dine in beef heaven, look no further than Wagyu Factory. Seriously, I’m not sure if they’ve secretly partnered with cattle angels, but this place serves up the best wagyu I've ever had. We're talking melt-in-your-mouth, buttery, can’t-stop-eating-it goodness. But let's talk about Marco for a sec — because if Wagyu Factory is a symphony, Marco is the maestro. Picture this: you walk in, hungry, maybe a little cranky (because hunger makes us all monsters), and Marco greets you like you’re his long-lost friend. He’s got that perfect balance of charm and humor, making you feel like you’re the VIP guest at an exclusive beef party. You can tell he knows his stuff — when he talks about wagyu, it’s like he’s describing a rare, fine art. We ordered the wagyu ribeye and, wow, it was like a tender, juicy slice of heaven on a plate. I’m talking flavor that makes you wonder why anyone would ever eat anything else again. Marco was there to explain the best pairings and made sure every bite was perfect, which was impressive, considering I was asking for him to keep the drinks coming faster than I could keep up with the food. Also, Marco’s laugh? Infectious. Every time he stopped by, it was like a mini comedy show with a side of steak knowledge. If you need a host who’s as smooth as the wagyu fat, Marco is your guy. To sum it up: the food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and Marco is a legend. If you're in the mood for a meal that’s not just satisfying but memorable, Wagyu Factory is your place. And make sure you ask for Marco—because, like a good steak,...
