Excellent customer service, excellent managers, of all the big box stores Kohls is by far the best, I went into the Kohls in Charles Town, WV tonight wanting to return some jeans that I couldn't use, they were brand new jeans with no tags and no receipt, the manager and employee spent about 30 min trying to identify the exact price and worked hard to accept the return and give me a credit for the merchandise, they didn't give me a hard time for not having a receipt due to the fact that it was a gift for Christmas, this kind of service is the reason I'll never go to Wal-Mart or Target for clothes and random items for my house. On top of the great service, Kohls has clearance items for about 80% off regular price, I got several kids and adult tee-shirts for less than 3 dollars each. Overall Kohls in Charles Town is my gold standard for shopping for clothes and household items. The employees truly care about the customer, in my opinion the employees are the reason for why shopping is an enjoyable and positive experience. Great place to shop....
Read moreI love Kohl's in Ranson, WV. The employees are always knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I always find things and brands that I like and to give as gifts. My teenage daughter knows she'll get something from their huge juniors section everytime we go there so she loves Kohl's too. And who doesnt love getting Kohl's cash to use on your next visit?! The Sonoma brand by Kohl's is impressive. I bought a pair of Sonoma taupe ankle boots for fall and they're comfortable and have held up like crazy. The faux suede uppers are weather repellent, theyre quiet unlike my pricey Frye boots that can be noisy when I walk. I wear my Sonoma ankle boots almost everyday to run errands, pick up the kids, attend their sport events, etc. They're in style and look great with skinny jeans and sweaters that I live in all fall and winter. Sonoma women's sweaters are pretty awesome too. I can find everything at Kohl's for my whole family and I'm definitely glad theirs a Kohl's conveniently...
Read moreNot user friendly for anyone handicapped AT ALL. I wanted something in the kitchen area, so parked on that side, no carts and no registers on that side. I had to walk all the way across the store to get a cart, all the way back across the store to find the item I wanted - and could not reach - back across again to get help to get the item, back across to pay for it (due to no tegister on that side) then back across the store to head out to my car! 6 times back and forth across the store. Totally unacceptable for seniors, and/or people with a handicap! VERY UNACCEPTABLE
In addition to that the Cashier advised if I opened Kohl's account and charged the item, I could get a discount on the sale, and then I could pay the balance off with my debit card.
The item purchased was defective and I returned it the next day, and was told they could not give me cash back, it would have to go as a credit on the charge card. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE I ALREADY PAYED THE...
