Growing up in California I didn’t use marijuana till I was allowed to for medical use legally. Then the year California legalized recreational use… I moved… to Wyoming…. (I voted for that law but didn’t get to see it-rip off). Culture shock aside I was sad to learn only cbd was legal here and all cbd I’d ever seen was an oil or vape pen. I had no clue there was CBD FLOWER. That was exciting to learn. I knew the types sativa, indica, and hybrid. And in CA that’s all anyone needs to know to start with. But walking in here showed me in states where marijuana is still ilegal in its purest form there’s a whole world of cannabis I wasn’t aware of.
The staff were all very helpful and took the time to explain each Delta THC and their differences. any time I had a question they gave immediate perfect answers. Like they memorized everything yet made it sound natural. The environment is very friendly and open minded. As a 25 year old with a cane usually stores are silently awkward towards me or even judging me for that matter. The prize wheel also added a fun silly atmosphere to the store. It took me a long time to figure out what products I wanted but i wasn’t rushed or followed around or anything like that.
So many of the products were clearly handmade which I appreciated as I usually buy everything on Etsy. I like handmade stuff. Prices were high as all cbd products usually are but still low compared to how high they easily could have been. They also aren’t afraid to speak up about marijuana laws which I love as I’m quite outspoken like that myself. I appreciate people unafraid to speak their mind as in Wyoming it seems so hard to find.
If you have never tried Mary Jane before I highly recommend this be your first store you go to. They aren’t offended by ignorance. They want to teach you. And they have everything you could possibly...
Read moreFirst off the shop is nicely kept. Only good quality about the shop. Everything is overpriced horribly compared to any other head shop/cbd and delta-9 shop in rapid city. Also I had been going there for a very long time buying constantly there because I liked the customer service and thought it was a good shop. They then one day out of the blue decided to say they were given the option/ thinking about kicking me out because I had tried to purchase nicotine vapes from their shop. First off there is a grandfather law in South Dakota that if you were of the age 18 when or before they changed the law to 21 for nicotine products, that you would still be able to get tobacco and nicotine items. I was 18 years old 7 months before they changed the law and had been getting vapes for a while at other places. If they were to listen and give me a chance to show them, things would be fine. Also they have sold me vapes before at that shop, so the constant inconsistency is also...
Read moreI bought 2 Christmas mystery boxes one for myself the other for my daughter and I was sooooooo disappointed in their choice of ingredients. I went in to buy 2 choice pieces and decided it would be a fun anticipation. When the boxes were opened it turned out to be just junk that they were getting rid of. I usually pick up 1 to 3 pipes when shopping at shops and I will never choose Grass Rootd again. I was definitely disappointed in the choice of stock. One of the pipes was blown upside down so that went to the garbage because who wants a upside-down face. So disappointed. Sorry to say I won't be back...
